Also, per the recent manga chapter, Kid Buu apparently is the most powerful foe Goku has ever faced... at least in the Mangastream translation. 🙂Buu VS Infinite Zamasu, anyone?
If this was said, this proves that what I was saying for yrs is right... Kid Buu was the most powerful Buu. This statement proves exactly what I was saying and Goku becoming more powerful throughout the episode is the reason he was able to do as well as he did against Kid Buu. If anyone have a scan of this statement, please post it.
Hm... Interesting.
Also, since we were reminded this episode that Frieza has some degree of telekinesis, he should just use TK to stop Dypso and his speed in its tracks, but I guess that would make too much sense. Would be nice to see Frieza use TK to the extent he did when he was toying with Goku back on Namek though, for variety’s sake.

Which is also an exaggeration.
Anyway, they are mentioning this up so that we get sense of how much power Uub already has,... the are building him up already.
^ It just tells us that Pure Boo gave Goku a really good fight at the time... Which we already knew.
Originally posted by Ridley_PrimeWell yeah. Look what Freeza was able to achieve with a bit of training. I can only imagine the same 'logic' would apply to Boo/Oob as well -- except his training-gains would likely be even more exaggerated.
Nonetheless, seems like a leadup statement to make Uub feel relevant again whenever they bring him back in...

Nothing you say makes sense. 🙂
Goku had Korin help him level up against Tao Pie Pie. King Kai taught him the Genkai Dama and Kaio Ken. Beerus helped him become Super Saiyan God (Without him, Goku never would have known about it), and he needed five other Saiyans.
And more. While Vegeta, with his own training and determination, and despite all the help and plot devices he enjoys, kept pace with him.
If Vegeta knew the Kaio Ken, he'd be the strongest. If Goku didn't know it, he wouldn't be as strong.
Goku needs to cheat to surpass Vegeta's naturally superior strength.
And Zeno forbid King Kai teaching others who previously visited him like Piccolo the Kaioken. Genki Dama could still stay exclusive to Goku (and Cell who never used it) since it's more a plot powah move, but not teaching anything else, including the Yardrat's instant transmission which turned out King Kai knew as well?
And yeah, compared to Vegeta, almost everything Goku knows/has, he was taught or given, or simply stole from others like when he copied Krillen's destructo disc strategy this episode. The little blue landmines he created for Jiren to step on was creative though.
