Nah. If anything it made it even more ambiguous. Toppo is essentially confirmed to be below Beerus (Toppo still has to charge his hakai energy, and literally just became a hakaishin,) and yet Toppo is, in all likelihood, above the Jiren we saw in 109 and 110. Even Jiren as of right now might only be relative to Toppo.
To be fair to Frieza, his arrogance was all the more bolstered when he handled the energy of destruction from Sidra so well. He hates getting looked down on, and thought this was another chance to show he's not below any high nosed god. This example of god energy crushing a self made mortal genius, was damn cool honestly.

The more I think the more Im not a fan of doing frieza this way. What was the point of building him up to fodderize him? For the first time it seemed like they were developing frieza as a villian but nope hes just as stupid and delusional as he was on planet namek.

It only proves that anything we have seen from Jiren would be a joke to Beerus. You have been saying blindly already that what we have seen from Jiren would already be above Beerus (even though we have never seen close the full power of Beerus). This episode only proves that anything we have seen in ToP would be meaningless against Beerus.
No doubt that Jiren is above Toppo, but Toppo we have seen would be a joke if a full GoD, even such as Sidra, would go all out.

Because Sidra is a full GoD, it was made clear that Toppo doesn't have full benefit of GoD. There is no doubt that all GoD are above Toppo.
I can't believe that someone think otherwise... why because of Sidra small portion against Freeza and Toppo hakai energy against GF and you compare that? Because of that some even genuiely thought GF could give Sidra a run for his money. Come on.
And also there is an immense gap between Beerus and Toppo. This episode was just to show what a fully developed GoD would be capable of.
Jiren at completely full power might become interesting against Beerus.
