Freeza lost it. He falls apart every time his plans backfire.

It's his own fault for toying with Toppo, You'd think he'd have learned by now to go for the quick win, after enough rounds with Super Saiyans.

Frieza gets kicked around by everybody in Super, Goku, Vegeta, Dyspo, Toppo.....

I actually like that Frieza was more in-character here than usual. He wasn't historically a super collected mastermind or anything.

^^^ Nope. He was an arrogant bastard who always overestimated himself.

Just like here.

Another thing, I think this puts to rest where Android #17 stands in the power hierarchy. He was beam-struggling a SSJ Blue level opponent in Pre GoD Toppo.

Toppo was pushing him back easy until Frieza began to shoot his back...

Yup. Fingers crossed for the manga to make this sequence less retarded, honestly. 👆

Spoiler:
Although I am concerned regarding how this will even be covered in the manga. I mean, after all, in that version Goku can already use the power of destruction himself...

Not "that" easy. Toppo had to put his back into it.

He's also nowhere near getting blitzed, so in general stats it's close.

The mere fact it's even a fight proves he can legitimately keep up with Goku, or especially Gohan.

So besides the fact #17 is U7's MVP, Toppo thoroughly surprised me, I wasn't expecting anything like that! I was a huge fan of the Toguro finger bullet thing he did with the Hakai energy against Frieza's blast.

Speaking of Frieza, I keep wondering since they made Kale to take the place of Broly since he was movies only, if they're going to give Frieza an amped up Cooler-ish form at some point (I want to see that cool mouth guard lock into place again). It just seems weird to me the guy who invented "This isn't even my final form" hasn't received a new form since GF when numerous others in the tournament have been able to reach new heights. Knowing Frieza though it would be something he hasn't practiced and the stamina drain would poof him back to hell 😐.

Its clear that the most powerful technique is throwing rocks.....

Energy reflector guy, throw rocks at him, hakai energy, throw rocks at it, saving Frieza's ass from elimination via rock throw, enemy becomes a God Of Destruction, let's throw rocks at him.

nobody is paper so they cant defeat rock

What about the Full Nelson?

If Toppo lost it after throwing away MUH JUSTICE and became the big bad of the arc I'd take back all the bad shit I've said about the writing

How is the God of Destruction suddenly being in the fight not illegal?

Not enough build up, but I agree it was a cool decision.

Because he isn't the God of Destruction. He is just a candidate. Anyways, looked back at the fight with the GoD and they had the energy of Destruction around them when they were fighting...

YouTube video

That could also just be their normal aura, though. Beerus had it when he fought Goku, too.

The perfect ending for this manga would be for Toppo to barely beat Vegeta. And then having him face UI Goku, Toppo getitng UI himself out of desesperation and Goku failing to beat him because he has his sights in Jiren instead of Toppo.

I want to see all the heros fail as if this was Hajime no Ippo 👆

Hmm

I think it will go like this:

1. Toppo battlefield removes 17 via haxx overpowering him with destruction power.
2. Vegeta realizing that Toppo is a gigantic threat no one saw coming and going all out. Pulling a desperate move to defeat the hax Toppo with destruction power. Would make sense for him to stand up for a bit(slight as it may) considering he himself was a candidate for GoD. However having received actual training Toppo would still have the upper hand.
3. Vegeta's desperate move manages to seriously set back Toppo, but it cost him greatly and so he gets eliminated by a Praising Toppo.
4. Just as Vegeta is eliminated a recuperated Frieza does what he has been doing best...take advantage of the situation by being a shady ass mother *****er. Toppo gets eliminated.
5. We get the unlikely team up of Goku and Frieza vs Jiren.
6. ????

I don't know what else. I don't see Goku mastering UI good enough to beat Jiren. Guy been chilling all this time. And as hype as Gogeta might be...I think it would be better for the show to focus on single performance instead of this BS with fusions. Not to mention the fusions have never EVER finished the job.

But who knows man. At this point everything goes. Lots of rumors running around.

I really loved this episode. I'd go as far as saying it is the best episode in the show bar none. It was that good and game changing.

Lots of people speculating Vegeta's life threatening blow is symbolical and that he will drop everything(his normal life) to ascend like Toppo.

Who knows. TBH I think that would be so out there it would be great for DBS. Even if Vegeta's character been against it.... it doesn't get more desperate than your entire universe getting eliminated and we know Vegeta is known for being drastic AF when it comes to his loved ones. And to top it all Vegeta makes so much sense as a GoD. He is reformed bad guy. He is not bad anymore, but he will not hesitate to kill if he needs to.

That would be the best, but there's no way it's going to happen tbh. Toei's policy is that they can't do anything cool.
