So Super isn't canon because Toriyama doesn't get the final say in the writing for each episode? Toriyama is still credited for original story and character designs along with overseeing its production. Its not like GT or the Toei movies where the story was left entirely in Toei's hands.

Also Buu's origin and Pan's age have been rectonned.

So Beerus at 100 percent can nullify a universe destroying blast and just make it go away.

And SSG is fighting evenly with 100 percent Beerus and didn't lose any power when he lost the time limit and went down to normal SS. Though he has normal ki again. Curious how he gets God Ki back.

I don't consider it canon. Then again I don't watch it.

yea seems like it. Only thing I noticed was beerus's didn't seem to be trying hard at all against ssj Goku.

Also beerus's could stop the attack and not whis?

Kinda crazy they were not at 100% when they were gonna destroy the universe.

Whis almost certainly could stop it but he lets Beerus do what he wants. Push come to shove he'll just hop back through time. No harm no foul.

The feat-mongers are likely to disagree, but this show is terrible.

It really is.

The shows clearly a cheap cash grab. Even older cash in shows like the 90's Street Fighter are better.

It has a nice opening theme though.

I'm digging certain segments of the fights but yeah there is just a lot of fat that needs to be trimmed. Z was never this slow.

I did like one line though.

Beerus: "I had to take the attack and nullify it all."
Goku: "That's not possi-!"
Beerus: "It is possible."

Paraphrasing the first few bits but yeah. Beerus continues to be the best character.

I like the fights, too. I also agree that there's too much filler, but overall, I like Super. I like the manga much better, even though I feel some of the issues I have with the manga are fixed in the anime.

Yea it isn't that bad. I mean they made a large jump in power but they are trying to explore a different avenue with the story.

The fight between Goku and Beerus has been God-awful(no pun intended), though. It has been like the worst part of the show, imo... It *should* have been the best part.

Yea the fighting is pretty lame Oh and what the hell were those dragons...no just no

I dont mind the crazy feats just choreograph the fights better.

Exactly. 👆

So far episode 12's been the only part of the fight I really liked (not so much because of the universal feat, though I guess that added a cool flair to it).

Oh yeah, what was up with those dragons anyway? Siphoned from their ki I guess? Thought it was kinda cool, although random. Makes me wonder how it'd be to see super dragon fist in SSJG form.

The Dragon scene is what I liked the least. I actually enjoy most of the choreography, but only when they engage in h2h, in some sections it was noticeably better than DBZ's were. The problem is, they don't seem to do enough of it, although it's not as minimal as GT's h2h.

Toriyama on MTV's Cribs.

Lol

The slowed down parts where they actually do martial arts is top notch. It's when it takes minutes for one attack that it drags. The actual h2h scenes where they engage for a little are fantastic though.

If they could mix even a moderate pace where you see every attack in with blasts without skipping a beat it'd be an amazing fight. Though I wouldn't complain about superspeed fighting either with the teleporting stuff thrown in but it's not as good as the slowed down attacks. The pacing is just off though as is.

Yeah, that "super, super high-density energy" beam-struggle was f*cking painful to watch. That alone lasted pretty much the entire episode. 😘
