I just went back and looked at Jiren vs Goku first fight and a lot of you took what was said out of context. Whis said that Jiren power is like a hot of Destruction (he didn't single a G.O.D out, he said it is like a God of destruction). He then say "perhaps even surpassed it". Surpassed the power of God of destruction. Again, he didn't single anyone out. He is saying that Jiren power SURPASSED the power of God of Destruction.. not Belmod alone.

We don't know where Jiren stands against GoDs, not even against Belmod. Toei said his power is in the domain of GoD.
I know in manga it was said on combat skill alone he was above Belmod (Belmod is the weakest GoD in manga).

He said perhaps, not probably. And still Toei said it's in the domain of GoD. He isn't above GoD. Where Jiren stands next to other GoD has yet to be seen.
