I just went back and looked at Jiren vs Goku first fight and a lot of you took what was said out of context. Whis said that Jiren power is like a hot of Destruction (he didn't single a G.O.D out, he said it is like a God of destruction). He then say "perhaps even surpassed it". Surpassed the power of God of destruction. Again, he didn't single anyone out. He is saying that Jiren power SURPASSED the power of God of Destruction.. not Belmod alone.
*sighs*

Aside from the glaring flaws in your logic that others have pointed out, in the anime Whis also makes the following comment as he is looking directly at BELMOND:

*That statement is being made in the singular sense; not plural -- "A God of Destruction..."

Tack that onto the fact that Toppo stated Jiren is > THEIR God of Destruction/BELMOND in the manga(another singular comparison):

...And it's clear they are comparing Jiren to BELMOND exclusively... Certainly not every single Hakaishin... Certainly not Beerus(who is *the* most powerful Hakaishin.)

That said, it is entirely possible that Jiren will be explicitly confirmed as > ALL Hakaishin(inc. Beerus) before DBS ends. As of right NOW, however, that is simply not the case.

ep.128-

Ah yes.

I though we were going to have another episode of filler BS next week with Goku going UI only at the very end.

I'd guess those scenes are from the final few minutes of the episode, tbh.

We still have to watch Jiren beat the shit out of(and eliminate) base Vegeta before Goku will attain UI, after all...

Looks like a predictable outcome.

At least Vegeta got to beat Toppo.

Oh, I'm sure you're right. I just figured he would transform at the end of 129 not 128.

👆

Definitely glad they didn't drag out the UI transformation. That means the next few episodes should be non-stop, solid action... No BS filler. If done right, these episodes could easily depict some of the best fight sequences we've ever seen in the franchise, tbh. Fingers crossed.

Don't forget guessing at which minute in the episode where Frieza appears out of nowhere and attacks only to get owned again.

Saw a pretty neat theory on Youtube that suggested the "evil doer" from Jiren's backstory was actually just an out-of-control Jiren. There's no way it's true, but it's crazy how easily a twist like that could have made his backstory compelling.

Yeah... 😬

Oh hey, a new rendition of DB Heroes gives us custom Namco Bandai animation (I believe) of SSJ4 vs SSJB.

Good video on one of my pet peeves of this series.

👆 Saw that video a while back. It's on point.

So Goku is givin Jiren a handjob?

Is it worth watching the first two saga's of Super even if you've seen the two movies?

Edit: put the link under a spoiler tag.

I know it’ll get a lot of flack but...I love that design lol.

I hope it looks better in the show because that looks awful.

The black hair transformation looks so much better.
