It's odd because I don't think Toei has officially confirmed that the series is ending indefinitely, but that is sort of the implication right now. Either way, I imagine it will be on an extended hiatus at the very least... There's a DB film being released later this year, though, so we might hear more about the status of future DB projects when that drops.
I'd be totally fine with the series ending permanently here, though.
Yea I would be fine with it too. It does leave a lot of question unanswered but I am content with it ending here.
On a different note. What are the odds that Jiren has mastered the Offensive side of UI and not 100% of the defensive. Seems to make sense if you ask men. Justifies why he is so damn powerful but can still be hit.
Just went back and looked at clip when Whis was telling Goku and Vegeta about UI.
He says "No matter how strong you are physically if you let your focus weaver you're setup to fail."
Seems like foreshadowing to Jiren defeat if you ask me.
Also Im curious to see if the anime will have Goku use Hakai like in the manga. I was hoping there was a reason the manga had him use it.

But it also my just be referring to Frieza still being in the tournament. But if that where true how would he have surprised Jiren with a death beam. hmmm

What are you talking about? We are going by statement made by Whis (who knows all about MUI and what it can do). Like I said, we dont have the full context of the fight. We should just wait and see before we start calling people out on their opinions which are backed by proof.
