So the upcoming manga chapter doesn't feature the Saiyans much at all. It's mostly about Freeza and Frost forging an alliance, and proceeding to eliminate nearly everyone from U9 themselves.

Freeza's way of double-crossing Frost in the manga was telling him to fight as hard as he can in the first half of the tournament, and promising to take over for him once he's tired out... But after Frost is fatigued, Freeza just rings him out:

"Never trust anyone." 😂

Also, Tien gets NO respect... no matter the media:

There is a really cool thing that they could have done with Tien that will sadly only remain in my lofty imagination.

He no sold Tiens usually hax ki ko ho. Come on, he got more respect in the anime, and anime Tien went out ridiculously premature as well.

And Frost seems a lot dumber here. At least Freeza had to “fight” Gohan to get his trust. Here Frost just sorta goes with it for no reason.

Regardless of the media, Frost always goes full-fangirl over Freeza. It's like Cabba and Vegeta except WAY gayer.

Just glad this chapter actually has Frost DO something. For example, between he and Freeza, they eliminate the Trio de Dangers casually(though the Trio didn't appear to use any of their special abilities.)

Spoiler:

-So MUI Goku ended up legitimately BEATING a full power Jiren. I repeat: MUI GOKU BEAT FULL POWER JIREN. #SuckItSupreme/Esta 😛

-Before Goku could deliver the final blast to knock a beaten Jiren out of the arena, he experienced an extreme energy backlash due to the type of 'limit breaking God power' he was tapping, and reverted to base. It was only AFTER Goku reverted to base that Jiren blasted him away... But he(Goku) is NOT eliminated yet, as he landed on a piece of rubble. I repeat: GOKU IS NOT ELIMINATED YET.

-We then see that #17 is still ALIVE and in the Tourney, as is Freeza. I repeat: #17 IS STILL ALIVE AND IN THE TOURNEY.

-Next episode: a ridiculously depleted base Goku+Freeza+#17 vs. a weakened Jiren.

...Suffice to say, there were a lot of "holy shit" moments in this episode.

In the ~12 YEARS between the Namek saga and BoG, Goku increased his power from n00b SSJ-level, to SSJ3-level on his own. He then required a specialized Saiyan ritual in order to achieve God-levels of power, and has been able to expand upon said power from there(via even crazier specialized training with a friggin Angel, along with numerous battles/zenkais)... But had it not been for his encounter with Beerus + the Saiyan ritual in BoG, it's unlikely that Goku would have ever ascended to such levels, imo. /shrug

Freeza, on the other hand, went from being WEAKER than he was on Namek(explicitly stated in RoF), to [b]SSB-level, just by spending four MONTHS wiping his ass with Tagoma on some remote planet, lol. Freeza then increased his power astronomically while he was trapped/cocooned in Hell, just by *thinking* about fighting Goku... His power increased so much, in fact, that he was able to match SSB Goku just before the ToP, who had: trained in the RoSaT for 3 dayS/YearS, received multiple zenkais via his battles in the U6/U7 Tournament + his battles with Black and Zamasu, and had also been training with fcuking Whis in his free time.

Can you even imagine the type of power Freeza could attain if he were given THAT much time to train, had the proper motivation, AND had an adequate training partner..? Holy shit. [/B]

So...How you guys rate ep 130?

Arguably the best fight sequence in the franchise, tbh..

First it's

"Your friendships and trust can be erased!"

Then it's

"I did not want our showdown to end this way, strong warrior Goku. You will be remembered in my memories."

So.....does Jiren have a split personality or what?

Plus prior to this, he didn't seem to act like such a **** and even reprimanded Toppo for throwing away his sense of justice and what not..so...the hell?
