What an episode, the nostalgia hit me like a truck and had me teary eyed at parts but I really enjoyed how Goku said he'll be back, it was definitely a fun ride.

idk, the last 3 episodes have been the best episodes of super but overall the tournament was so inconsistent with so many fillers, trunks arc was still the best part of super, I would even say trunks arc was on the level of cell saga and namek saga

Post ToP: Zeno just erases eight of the universes like he originally planned.

Android 17 said to bring them back, he didn't say anything about keeping them from being erased in the future.

He also said "all the universes that were erased."

So is Trunks timeline back? Are the erased universes before the ToP?

I loved Vegeta's face when Freeza and Gokou were teaming up against Jiren. And that fight did not end how I expected it. My jaw was wide open, expecting Jiren to like pop back onto the ring after showing Freeza and Gokou in the stands. At least 17 got the wish, albeit it sure was teh wish everyone knew would happen. But it came from the last person you'd think would get it. Even though it was so short i think that was one of my favorite fights of the whole series. I'm just still blown away by those two working together..

And Whis just like annnd you're alive now. Guess they really are the anti-GoDs. Bringing people back to life and all that.

the tag team fight scene was cool cause frieza is db most iconic villain, goku turning ss1 the very last attack on jiren with frieza, bring back nostalgia to namek saga. animation was on point.

but the fight was way too short, really wished goku finish jiren himself with MUI. granted they do need time to wrap everything up. still think they should have done a 40 min episode though. it got real cheesy at the end , I rather jiren go down as a badass who still says **** you to everybody

Freeza trolling Jiren was the best part.

That, and the look on Vegeta's face, like he realized he just got kicked to the curb as Goku's tag team partner in the biggest event ever.

The icing was #17 commenting on their power, ending the question of who is stronger between the two.

next fight that happens, Goku is going to go straight to his main man, Freeza, to get a tag team partner. XD

That was very good.

Such a nice touch having Goku go normal Super Saiyab to end it all.

And I like that Goku can't then UI on his own. Vegeta is arguably stronger than him now. At least equal.

I'm glad UI was a temporary thing, yeah, though we kinda already had an idea that would be the case because of the movie preview.

Although kinda rushed and cheesy in some ways/parts, the ending was serviceable, all things considered.

Haven't felt that excited watching dragonball since my balls dropped, i almost teared up. I'm a freeza fanboy though and I hate GokuTime so having it come down to a triple team like one of my other favorite fight endings (where they all jumped Cell) almost makes all the other bullshit in super worth it

The ending scene where Goku and Vegeta are standin in the same fighting poses when they first met in Z and even the terrain was the same was a pretty nice touch.

Nah. If Vegeta does push Goku to his limits he's going to get destroyed.

Ascended SSJB Vegeta and KaiokenX20 SSJB Goku was pretty much implied equal, far as one could tell.

Sure. The issue is if Vegeta pushes Goku to his limits Goku'll probably go UI again and then proceed to stomp Vegeta.

In the end a bunch of universes got erased thanks to Goku being stupid and wanting to have a good fight but 17 revived them all.

There is no question who the real hero is.

Gotta love how 18 was like "17 wait dont revive all the universes go on a cruise trip instead"... like only Super Dragon Balls can grant you a tip....

It was said too apparently that if anyone made a selfish wish, that Zeno would’ve erased the remaining universes, so good thing 17 wasn’t still thinking about the cruise ship by that point I guess. It was kinda predictable, but welcomed outcome nonetheless.

Nah, Vegeta is smarter then Jiren. And especially smarter then Kefla.

He'll realize MUA is triggered by mortal threats every time, and beat Goku just shy of killing him, pretend to be so disgusted with his weakness that he gives up fighting forever, then turns his back on him. And forever refuses to fight from that day forward, and constantly blames him.

That would hurt Goku a lot worse then mere reolving door death. 👆

Ridley, the head Angel said that, but does anyone really believe anime Zeno is remotely capable of that kind of thinking?

This sounds more believable for manga Zeno.

It does totally prove Super is based on the same script, minus the oversight, because that plot twist doesn't work with simpleton Zeno.
