So was Goku lying to Vegeta about not being able to access MUI?

Wouldn't be the first time he's held out on him, like with SSJ3. He also lied to the kids when training them for Buu.

He's never had a problem mastering a form after he has a breakthrough, I don't see why this should be any different.

Here's an idea:

Freeza was unusually compliant after the ToP, and the schemeing smile amounted to nothing.

What if in the movie, the twist is he takes his former Empire, and turns it into a Pride Troopers outfit?

He doesn't turn good, per say, but decides the universe needs a dedicated band of law enforcers to keep order, and ramp up the god power levels for the next ToP.

Come to think of it, he had that in the Ginyu Force.

What if the Legendary SSJ is the guy Jiren couldn't beat?

I just can't see the movie rolling back on power scaling. Only time that happens is when another character is the star, like Adult Gohan or Goten and Trunks.

We'll see MUI for certain.

FYI to all. Akira is going to have almost all of the involvement he can have in this movie. He is playing major roles in the character creation and the fighting scenes. The movie is going to be canon.

If not, that means Goku's ultimate form is NOT a Super Saiyan form.

I want them to bring back Oozaru. Would love to see an uncontrollable Goku vs a controlled Vegeta.

But that would imply Vegeta winning against Goku, and we cannot have that. xD

On a side note, Golden Cooler (of his final/5th form) was recently revealed as a thing for Super DB Heroes. Heroes never fails to disappoint with the what-if transformations. Other stuff shown in the trailer too...

Of course Toriyama is very much involved in the creation of the upcoming film, and of course it will be canon... That has been known since its inception, lol.

Hahaha true true. But it would be nice to see Vegeta training Goku.

Vegeta technically has the only win of their rivalry.

The same way Freeza technically beat Vegeta and Goku, and Jiren had Goku beat.

Vegeta beat him twice if you go by the cheapshot in the Buu Saga

But probably there has never been such a gap between Goku and Vegeta as there is now, huge gap.

Vegeta's probably stronger in saiyan forms. Goku needs his "tucker me out bro" forms to be way above.

Which wouldn't be a stretch to say that if they simply give it to Goku as a form he can access anytime, it's likely they give it to Vegeta too. Kind of hope they drop it though.

Its kind of disappointing that DBS has kind of sucked the life out of this forum. I mean nobody is talking about anything else and a little bit after the show ended, the forum dried up.

Maybe this rumor will breath some life into it.

According to this rumor, DC is planning on doing a crossover with Dragon Ball, just like Marvel did. And due to the tremendous popularity of Death Battle's shows, they plan to settle Superman vs Goku once and for all, and make it canon to both franchises.
