Yardrat training implies Goku had an unfair advantage over Vegeta all this time. Turns the narrative of Goku just being better on its head, and makes it look like he only had access to better instruction.

If Goku never went to Yardrat, or if Vegeta had access to that same training, the entire series could have been different. They even complimented Vegeta on doing better then Goku did with his ki polishing.

And thinking about it, what kind of gains could the humans make?

This is yet another example of a plot device to make them relevant again, that is being wasted.

So Angels self destruct if they take a side.

Kind of like a shinigami if they extend a human life. Toriyama is now ripping off Death Note, just like he ripped off Histories Strongest Disciple Kenichi with Ultra Instinct.

I also thought it was interesting that Merus was about to use his FULL power against Goku before Whis intervened:

Granted, we don't know how powerful Merus is compared to, say, Whis... But the fact that an Angel was about to use his full power against Goku speaks volumes about his [Goku's] power now.

And on that note, it looks like Goku has learned how to tap into UI(Omen) at will now.

Compare the aura we glimpsed here:

To his Omen aura here:

I give you props, you pay attention to detail. How long have they been in the chamber?

Less time then it took for Vegeta to greatly surpass Goku on Yardrat.

Before it got to them it said two months had passed in the real world..so math that up and it's years?

Ok, that's insane. Iirc... isnt a full day 1 year? If this is true, Goku should be insanely powerful.

Carver proving he reads comics. 😆

😕 A full day is only a few months in that room. Do you read the manga anymore? 😆 Its still a long time though but Vegeta probably will end up just as strong by sitting on a rock for a few days.

1 day in the real world = 3 days in the chamber.

So they've been in there for the equivalent of 6 months.

Which anyone who diligently follows the manga would know.

As I do, as soon as Viz's manga app updates.

And that's only bare minimum average fandom, where super fans like Galan usually have details well ahead of release.

Odd that a seeming super fan like Carver need to ask this basic, easily obtained info.

😂🤣 Least Galan is here to make me wrong also.

Havent read the Manga in a while. I honestly need to catch up on a lot of stuff. Are you all reading it from Viz?

Yea, VIZ is just the easiest way to read it.

👆

Viz translations are almost always on point as well... And in the rare cases where the translations are off, they're quick to correct them.

I wonder if Vegeta learned some secret sealing technique in those two months. Or what he could have learned to go against Moro.

Seems like he'll learn IT for sure, and possibly that healing technique the Elder used.

Interesting twist, as I didn't expect Vegeta to get all esoteric like this. He's always been relatively one-dimensional, and perpetually chasing Goku's coattails. It's refreshing to see him doing his own thing for once. 👆

Well, he has never been one to pass up any way to get power. Let Krillen try to nearly kill him, tries to kill himself in gravity training, let himself be possessed. Is god know how old these days from spirit and time room training.

The problem is, healing abilities have never, ever been used to heal oneself.

So he's essentially pigeonholing himself into a support character.

He's been a support character ever since Namek, lol.... At least now he'll be more useful as a support character. 😉
