I'm curious to see where they go with #100.
Gohan was just about to kill Cell Max in this chapter, so the events of the movie will definitely be concluded very early in the next chapter. So they could just do a mid-chapter skip that segways into the EoZ stuff and leave it at that, or they could start a brand new Black Freeza arc.
Personally, I wish the manga would just end already. It hasn't been good in a LONG time.

Black Frieza may as well have viciously killed Goku in his debut instead of Gas if they arent gonna followup on that shit. I think they will though.

Aside from the obvious(ie. off the rails powerups, and asspulled 'credible threats'😉, my issue with the manga has been pacing. I mean, the Moro arc took over 2 years to wrap up. The Granolah arc took a year and a half. Hell, we're coming up on a year just to conclude the Super Hero arc.
*Some* of the world/character building has been good, but goddamn... /shrug

Just glad the recap shit is coming to a close again, at least for now. With any luck, the next main original manga arc will start next year before Dragon Ball Muppet Babies starts airing. Also, looks like Death Battle is doing a part 3 to Goku vs Superman. Even with as much a tired horse of a topic it is and with all the powerups Goku got since their last video on it, doubt their stance will change. Their recent Frieza vs Megatron was cool at least, which I couldve seen going either way, but showing how dangerous Black Frieza can be even when cut in half was a nice way to end it. Wasnt sure how to feel on their Vegeta vs Thor though.
Suppose it should also be asked if this will bring Carver and company back out of the woodwork. 😛

Apart from Black Frieza, the first half or so of the Moro arc was the last time I remember being that intrigued by the manga, but curious to see where they go next now. Can also understand wanting the manga to end at some point, but Daima being the only official new Dragon Ball content would feel wrong to me.

This one is going to be a bit different, though. This time Death Battle will use SDBH Goku and Infinite Frontier Superman. I know nothing about Infinite Frontier, but if he's being used here, then maybe he's far stronger than regular Superman.

After Super Hero, I'm not sure if they'll sideline Goku and Vegeta again so other characters would shine. But, maybe Frieza won't appear for time being. The power gap is too huge and it's crazy to think Goku and Vegeta managed to keep up with Black Frieza that fast.
Shortly after this fight's announcement, Ben tweeted that this re-analysis would include materials from Dragon Ball Heroes (The stronger Dragon Ball timeline previously used for Trunks VS Silver and Gogeta VS Vegito), and Infinite Frontier (DC's current mainline comics continuity, which is effectively an in-universe composite of all prior mainline Supermen, from Earth-One all the way to Post-Flashpoint).
They are terribly biased and don't stick to any rules --- not even their own.

Thor doesn't even have 0.001% of the speed required to react to Vegeta, much less beat him in a fight.
And Mjolnir is useless against AoE or rapid fire attacks.
I figured. They even included Ultra Ego Vegeta in the fight, and their reasoning for why Thor wouldn't get erased by Vegeta's hakai energy seemed kinda reaching, though I could see where they were coming from. With how skewed they tend to be in favor of comic characters versus Dragon Ball characters though, they may as well have said Thor could resist getting erased by Beerus hakai as well. 😬
Well, I'll still take the Frieza W if nothing else.
That moment when Perfect Cell swole outbuffed Max. Even the toy manufacturers knew what was up.
Edit: I thought I had an attached file picture there, but I guess it didnt take on mobile here. Link to it instead then.

And this surprises you? lol
Was gonna bring it up earlier, but something I mostly forgot about until I saw it mentioned again, was the four universes that were exempt from having to participate in the ToP because their overall power/population levels were good enough. Had Super taken the Yu Yu Hakusho approach of having a tournament every other arc or so, I couldve seen them getting around to that, but now I would be surprised if we even saw universe 6 again at some point.
I guess them getting around to universe 7 against those other universes not yet fought is possible as a backburner thing for Super. Even then though, I only see them focusing on one of those four universes at a time, if they want to hold on to some other tournament arc concepts down the line.
Basically though, it would start with universe 7 (and 6 if theyre lucky enough to be included) against whatever the weakest of those four universes are. Would have its own Jiren type character that looks down on them since they didnt have to take part in the ToP, and the other usual shonen tropes.
p.s. Since I never commented on Goku vs Superman 3 after it was out, I enjoyed it from a neutral perspective, knowing what to expect from them at that point. Also like how it ended on a more kind spirited note between the two, as well as Wiz and Boomstick addressing at the end whether or not having Goku and Superman fight to the death is just breaking them down to numbers or clashing of ideologies and stuff, but countered all that with how it's just fun to love these characters and talk about how they would fight and compete.
Other than that, cant say I care much for Dragon Ball Daima still. If Super in fact continues soon, then I may just disregard Daima for the most part. I dont know, but the adventure spinoff with everyone being kids again shtick still leaves me disinterested on paper.
There's certain levels of milking that'll just cause fatigue as seen with other franchises, not that there's too much for me to expect from Dragon Ball in the coming years at the rate in which they release some new stuff followed by recaps, etc... Now I see more why Galan wanted the series to end again sooner, though it was never up to us but the powers to be.

To be fair now... Tori's always been writing Super as if every character was a toddler or something...
Don't get me wrong, I'm not a fan of this new "direction" either, but I think it won't be much different, all things considered... 😂
Is mostly Goku who became more toddler like. Everyone else pretty much felt the same to me. I guess it can be argued though that the lightheartedness of Super compared to its predecessors (barring like the Zamasu arc) wasnt too different from what we will be getting from Daima, or Dragon Ball Muppet Babies as I still call it.
Z and whatnot was clearly targeted toward older kids and teens, but with modern Dragon Ball they wanted to get more younger kids back into the series as well because money.
Btw, nice how Vegeta tanked against a Broly punch and counterattacked during a spar they had in the latest manga chapter. They were both in base form but that said, an impressive display of how far Vegeta's come because during the DBS Broly movie, him and Goku in god form were getting ragdolled by pre-SSJ Broly for the most part.
So Vegeta bested both Goku and Broly in a base form spar... Probably doesn't mean that he's the strongest overall in their transformed states, but that he has the most discipline in his base form. Still, that kind of training in base form will only make the other forms stronger when they have to use them.
So from the preview
Beast Gohan is sparing with Mui Goku and they seem to be pretty even.

Beast Gohan doesn't appear to be going all out yet (shorter hair, no pupils), and Goku appears to be using a "True UI" version of the silver haired form, he appears to be showing emotion while fighting like when used True UI Sign against Gas.
