There seemed to be an implication that Whis is training Goku and Vegeta to fight himself. Which could also imply he's training them to beat his sister.
Also Vegeta thinks they're already almost at the peak of their power so 3 years won't make much of a difference.
Buu and Piccolo aren't getting powerups but Piccolo was fighting evenly with spikey black haired Gohan if that means anything.
And I'm pretty sure Hercule and Buu are tonguing each other's buttholes.

I definitely think there's going to be something involving Gohan, if not in this arc I'd at least like to see an arc where they'd visit a universe close to the one we know but where Gohan had to take up the mantle of defending Earth cause Goku decided to not ever come back.
So after the Cell saga instead of falling off, Gohan would train with Vegeta and that Vegeta would push Gohan like crazy and teach him to not hold back and to always keep his guard up. Gohan would learn to strike to finish the fights as soon as possible, instead of toying with his opponent like the first time he went SS2, and he would realize each battle for Earth could result in losing everyone he ever loved or cared for if he wasn't serious from the get go.
A bit fan fiction-y I guess but still woudn't be that far of a stretch, idk it would just be really neat to see a Gohan who never stopped his training, went through all the trials his father faced and then ended up facing off against his Universes God of Destruction. Imagine the surprise of seeing his dad again after all those years when the two universes meet haha.
I want Trunks and Goten to get stronger individually after Vegeta being like nope cant fight because fusion is cheating. Albeit more mean because its Vegeta. Because they both love to fight but fusion gets like five minutes at max power. Not exactly enough time to win a battle. Since they never have fused.

I think it would be really cool if they somehow retconned future Trunks' timeline into an alternate universe. I'd love to see what became of future Trunks after the conclusion of the Cell saga...
He basically becomes a time cop for the Supreme Kai of Time. He goes back and forth in time to kick the **** out of anomalies in time.
Never played Heroes but read about it. Just started playing Xenoverse. Buu apparently spreads his seed and creates a Buu race too. Though that could easily just be written off as another timeline. Though Trunks is supposed to be the same dude.

5 minutes is more than enough. Like Vegeta told Goku "a minute is like an eternity in a fight like this".
