Vitiate/Sidious/Generic Doomsday/Conqueror Villains all get poorly handled despite such and such awesome powers they may or may not have
Shit, even Freeza in Dragon Ball carried a standing army with him despite being more powerful than everyone in it combined several million times over.

Sidious wasn't that bad, not compared to Vitiate who just went from an Emperor who got threatened by almost dying, deciding to make bodies to speak through and then later just explode into some uber powerful guy that just completely goes against what happened before and makes all the other stuff contradicting.

Well I was speaking more from a character and power standpoint. Because Vitiate apparently could do the things he does now, back when Revan fought him. Which brings the question of why he felt threatened and felt the need to just hide away.
Sidious was always powerful and grew more powerful in DE, he didn't always have that power before, there's not much issue there I have with.
