I don't think they'd waste any time at all with an epic declaration that Sheev is... just stronger than Vader. 😬
I think its supposed to represent him reaching the pinnacle of Sith power.

If it were supposed to be Bane's Sith, it would have said so. But it just said Sith, so it refers to everyone who comes under that umbrella, be it all current living Sith, or every Sith of all time. Those are the only two possibilities, and only one of them is logical.
Oh that's cute, so you believe in one instance they should have been explicitly clear, but in this case it's ok to be implicitly clear. Like I said, it's nowhere near definitive unless you can prove it and judging by what you've done thus far, I'm not holding my breath.

So you accept that the Sith Emperor's accolades don't apply to Palpatine? Well it's a start.
But Vitiate's promotion covers beings such as Celestials, Soa, The World Razer, Terror from Beyond, and Darth Nihilus.

As for the statement in question, "the most powerful Sith Lord of all" is a vague statement that just as easily be of all time, as of all current Sith Lords. If someone would like to point out why the former is semantically impossible, go ahead. The former, however, is just more likely. Other than Palpatine Vader was the only other Sith Lord in existence at the time, and it's common knowledge that his abilities were crippled as a result of his duel with Kenobi. Being more powerful than Vader is not an accolade for Sidious, is a given, and doesn't need to be stated.
That said its only a reprint, not a new source.

You've yet to back this up with proof or logical reasoning, being the enemy of other Sith factions does not make you a non-Sith, Sith is a belief.
Originally posted by S_W_LeGenDThe "Sith cause" is a subjective goal that fluctuates with each iteration of the organisation. Were the Brotherhood of Sith serving the Sith cause? Bane didn't seem to think so. And what about the One Sith? Bane rejected their doctrine as well.
Do you think that Vitiate is serving Sith cause in any way?
Fact is when you strip it down to the bare bones, to be a Sith is to study and follow Sith philosophy and teaching, the Sith Code. Nothing else is static. I've been given no reason to believe Vitiate has strayed from the ideals of what it is to be Sith, and indeed his personality seems unchanged since he was annoited as a Lord by none other than Marka Ragnos, clear recognition of his dedication to the Sith ways.
Vitiate's purposes are contrary to the existing Sith Order, this is not unprecedented, and it does not make him no longer Sith.

For whatever its worth, from the Ultimate Star Wars:The full power of the light side and dark side of the Force are on display during Yoda's clash with Emperor Palpatine. Outmatched, Yoda retreats and waits for a new champion to lead the fight against evil.
Yoda/Sidious > Vitiate, confirmed 👆
