Nice.

Yoda/Sidious > Vitiate, confirmed 👆

This argument has been discussed ad nauseam. That's not what the movie fight showed. And I believe there were various sources that declared those two equals.

Sidious has plenty of quotes, we knew that before this thread was made. It changes nothing.

Um...I'm not sure what you're arguing.

Yoda and Sidious are indeed equals or near equals as of RotS.

I concur.

It remains: Sidious > Vitiate.

No, it doesn't remain what you just said. Simply repeating it doesn't make it any more true. Further, I don't think any of us are sure how that quote meant that Sidious/Yoda > Vitiate, but you've done a great job reaching thus far so keep at it.

This quote is from the latest Canon sourcebook however, April 28, 2015.

Which in universe book is this?

Its not in-universe, its an out-of-universe Encyclopedia that covers all Canon material.

http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Ultimate_Star_Wars

You DO realize that the description for this book basically means "in universe". It doesn't apply to SWTOR or anything else.

It applies to the Canon of the Star Wars universe. What else matters?

It applies to the canon of Rebels, Episode 7, and whatever other crap it's talking about. That makes it in universe and therefore, not applicable to anything else. Nice try though 👆

i.e. everything that is currently regarded as Canon in the Star Wars universe, and indeed everything that ever will.

Does it apply to Legends? In the respect that Legends is not free to contradict it, yes.

Nope. It only applies to anything it mentions. IE nothing else. Keep trying though. I know you have a track record of arguing things to death, hours after you are proven wrong.

What are you even talking about? If you'd like to substantiate your claims with some credible source then do so. But the fact is this statement is Canon and therefore all future and past content must align with it, that is how Canon works.

You don't understand how canon works. You've listed in universe source material and are desperately attempting to argue that it's all encompassing. That's not how this works. I don't have to substantiate a single thing because you're already 100% wrong. If you want to continue arguing this to the death, be my guest, but it doesn't change the fact that you're wrong.

So your not even going to attempt to explain your logic?

Well I guess I have permission to ignore it then.

This coming from someone who made a post, made a ludicrous claim, then asked the other party to prove HIS claim. Thanks for playing but you're in over your head 👆

I'll be honest using Ultimate SW should only apply to the new canon. At least we know Palpatine is stronger than Bane 😎

Well it depends on your perspective really. Sure this statement is made with no regard to the Sith Emperor, but at the same time is any Legends material really in a position to contradict Canon? I just thought it was an interesting statement to consider.

I thought Ultimate SW was just apart of the new canon? It only covers canon material from what I've read, except maybe the Plaguies novel.

👆

It has no bearing on the old EU.
