So Sidious is more powerful than The Ones? 🙂
Spoiler:
The bargaining stage...

The Father already indicated that his children are universal threats, hence their necessary containment. The Emperor needn't be their equal or superior to be capable of infinitely more destruction than Valkorion. excellent

Sidious will always be limited by his gross failure against DE Luke. Sorry. 🙂

Spoiler:
Yikes. Back to denial.

Well, looks like my work is done here. You should be most pleased, Skillz. All I've done is vindicate your decision to bend the knee to His Imperial Majesty.

excellent

I understand the technicality of the statement, which would put his destructive prowess far above Valkorion's, but don't really recognize it given that it's very inconsistent with his actual combat showings and is otherwise completely retarded in its nature.

Can you please share the quote that says Palpatine was planning on draining all life through his servants? I must have it. 😬

It's described in an article written by Publius, perhaps the greatest of all Sheevites.

Read "The Apotheosis of Palpatine."

That is like, the ultimate Palpawank book.

It makes him seem Valkorion like. Then you realize he's not. 🙂

This is, quite literally, all I care about lol. What you do with the knowledge is up to you. You can lead a horse to water...

Whether you drink, drown, or dehydrate is entirely your choice.

Spoiler:
You bent the knee already.

That just makes it the ultimate book in general. excellent

I don't see why Sidious shouldn't be able to destroy the entire space itself at this point in EU. 🙂

Oh yes! You showed me this a couple years ago but I completely forgot where it was stated. So that's why I couldn't find it. Thanks.

Tempest, stop toying with plebians and go play RC damn it.

I bent the knee before Valkorion existed. Things change. 🙂

Additionally, Publius was a masterful linguist. One of my favorite passages comes from another essay in that collection, chronicling the downfall of the Empire:

When the Empire did die in early 46RS, it did so not with
bang but with a whimper. Ambitious men and women had fought each other ruthlessly and violently to take control of the Empire, either not knowing or not caring about the devastating consequences of their struggle for power.

The result was that the Empire ultimately broke its own back, cut off its own head, and fell into a grave it had dug for itself. Ambition’s debt was paid.

What a great summation.

Nah, I try not to play video games or watch Netflix this late. I run the risk of becoming engrossed.

Link not working for me, won't load.

Not sure why. I'm accessing it just fine, as are Sin and Skillz. Perhaps you have to be a devout acolyte of His Imperial Majesty? mmm

Sin, you may also like The Test of Wills, which is Publius's adaptation of Dark Empire into novel form.

reminds me of my days watching the first american horror story.

Also the quote from that guy is great, Daala squandered her forces in a highly ambitious attempt to stop Skywalker, and though she managed to unite the empire, she very stupidly chose to divide her forces.

Jerec squandered his army for personal use.

Thrawn and Sheev were the only things keeping the empire together,

Sidious's philosophy is inferior to Valkorion's, ergo he's inferior. That's literally how KOTFE works. 🙂🙂🙂

That Publius deserves a golden Keanu Reeves statue.

"In essence, the time between The Phantom Menace and Revenge of the Sith was not to accumulate power for himself, but rather to acclimate the galaxy to his exercise of it." beautiful tbh

Good shit, innit?

I'd recommend Test of Wills, too.

I read Plagueis for the 3rd time this month, just reread Sithisis and watched ROTS (second time this week). This must be the reward for my lack of a life. 🙂
