Not only did Thor hit the Void with his full power, and that was in his words and it did absolutely nothing. Then he can easily pierce his skin with a hammer throw.
First I'd offer this.

That could be said int he context that it was people without powers getting upgraded but I think to suggest it had affected each person equally.

Yeah, I think the biggest example would be his remarks about hitting the Void "with all the power at my command" and it doing nothing, and then like I mentioned about the hammer throw.
