As for people thinking the lycans were good, I guess here is my only issue: these guys open up with frickin uzi's or whatever the hell they had..in a crowded area, really not seeming to care about bystanders. This is literally within the first 5 minutes of the movie.
Then don't you ever wonder what happened to ALL the people before Michael with the last name Corvin they experimented on? Something tells me they didn't wind up safe in their beds. Even if they did, just kidnapping people to experiment on them is pretty evil IMO.
Then in the sequel you come to find out Lucian rewards Tannis via turning over some of his friends so they can be his slaves.

You're not understanding this though. Nobody is saying the Werewolves are pope like or anything. What we are saying is, generally in all movies there are good guys and bad guys. Helps move along a story and get people to have interest in it. Makes for more of a dramatic movie. So what we are saying is.. the "Good" guys of this franchise would be the werewolves not the Vampires

The term actually used was to be his watch dogs I believe. You're correct though Viktor is a bumbling moron in the movies

I get what you are saying, but it doesn't always have to be good vs evil. In this case it was evil vs lesser evil. I can see how some might say lycans were the good guys, but only if they didn't pay attention to the movie.
