Star Wars: The Old Republic: Knights of the Fallen Empire

This is basically this forums TOR thread atm.

It really wasn't before you started talking about your catching up in it. Go dump this all in the Battle Bar. Or even SoR's thread, tbh.

Don't backseat Mod. Also suck my nuts, you grumpy mofo.

Me telling you to do something isn't backseat modding. Me telling you to do something because it's "aginst deh rulz," is. And that's gey, gross.

Damn, TOR has honed me to always back out of a conversation to get more approval. But... do I want approval with Valkorion? That line about him proposing was too tempting.

About Valkorion: The best (most interesting) theory I've heard is that

Spoiler:
Valkorion used to be a totally independent person and that at some point Vitiate possessed him like he does the protagonist. But instead of just possessing him, Vitiate and Valkorions personalities merged together, emerging as something new. That's why Valkorion used to be this chill guy who suddenly turned cold one day and why Valkorion is so completely different from the utter sociopath that Vitiate was.

Whats interesting is that this is exactly what he's trying to do to the Outlander as well. In your talks with him he's constantly trying to get you to think more like him and to allow him steadily more control over your body. Arcann is just a convenient threat to push you into rashly accepting his help. Just like merging with Valkorion allowed him to experience not being a sociopath, he wants your protagonisty goodness for his own personality. This also matches up with all his talk about how you're more closely linked now than you understand.

I'm listening. 🥷

Pretty shit theory, tbh.

You know, that tsundere act only works if you put in the dere parts too.

Also bye bye Tanno.

It is a pretty shit theory. Valkorion being another random who lives thousands of years is def retarded. Valkorion also being the one random to change Vitiate is also stupid. BioWare has to **** up KotFE somehow though, so I won't say it's not true. I'd just be disappointed if it is.

Don't forget his change after Ziost tbh.

Man, Talos got ****ing pimpin'. Where can I get a set of that swag?

GTN.

Wait a minute Marr is a force ghost now...wtf.

Vitiate one-shot him. Spoilers.

You should play or watch the story, its actually legit good.

I knew that, but I thought he somehow survived and that at the end it was a hologram. Do they even explain how a Dark Sider is casually a force ghost?

Why would they? TOR already has other Dark Side Force Ghosts, the SI's storyline is based around it, and Marr was always pretty chill anyway.

Darth Marr is a Lightside Sith I guess. I can't recall how one becomes a Force Ghost, so maybe he just met the criteria of being a cool dude or something.

Lol I guess so. I mean it does seem in KOTOR becoming one with the force is casual as **** compared to in canon.

Except being a Sith Force Ghost means one is not one with the Force...?

And besides, Marr had already accepted his death about a year earlier.
