I don't think Clinton will worry about having a white VP, she already enjoys support from racial/ethnic minorities on her own. The only thing that might be worrisome is if her VP is perceived as too far to the left, and obviously she probably can't have a woman as VP.

She'll probably look for the most appealing Southern white male in the Democratic party to be her VP tbh. One thing that House of Cards hits right on the mark with is the political value of a Southern white male Democrat.

Because Trump's likely going to have a woman and/or non-white ethnicity on his ticket. It's about mass-market appeal.

Don't get me wrong, not saying this will happen as fact; OV could very well be correct and she picks a white man. She's not picking another women though, that's a given.
