Don't worry I'm sure Cecil has some brothers or sisters.

Bah, lions are boring game. Lions can't build traps for you, they can't release scorpions and snakes into your bungalow at night, and they certainly can't build traps out of scorpions and snakes braided together into a net.

Yes, but the dinosaur will hunt down not only you but your entire family, like the shark from Jaws.

Did you know there was a subplot in the novelization and the original script that the Jaws shark was hunting the Brody family because of a curse that a voodoo priest they ran afoul of cast on them?

lol, Marco Rubio doubles down right afterwards

"The most important job anyone will ever do is being a parent...not being the president, not being a senator, not being a congressman...the most important job is being the president"

Ted Cruz: "Five major agencies I would eliminate: The department of commerce, the department of commerce, the department of commerce...err...the department of commerce AND the department of commerce"

Not as bad as Rick Perry who "oopsed" his chance to be president away, but still funny. Maybe just avoid making lists if you can't remember the items on it.

As if he, as President, could simply eliminate government agencies lawfully established by Congress.

He could refuse to nominate new people to lead the various agencies, in which case, the existing people would remain in those positions, but it would take an act of Congress to eliminate those agencies completely.

For someone who wants to be President, he certainly does not understand civics.

When he said that, I remember thinking, "Then you do not need to president. Go parent your children. Take a sip and have a seat."

Ted Cruz looks like Jeb Bush and his bro somehow had a child together and the result was Ted.

As an English teacher, I'd like to make a formal request that everyone stop quibbling over mistakes like your/you're in online discussions.

I don't get why they set up rules for these debates and then just let the candidates break them.

Poor moderation

How many of these debates are going to have shitty mods before someone realizes "yeah, maybe it's time to stop this".

It doesn't take a lot of skill to say "the buzzer just sounded so kindly stop talking". Perhaps they could also toss in a line about how they've had children follow rules better then these candidates.

People will interrupt even if the buzzers stop. It really doesn't matter.

They need to rig up a button for the mods that when pressed triggers a very loud laugh track. They can press the button if the person continues to talk after the buzzer. So it won't stop interruptions, but it will make them pointless since nobody will be hearing what they are saying.

How about a cattle prod?

Yeah, well, it generally seems like during campaigns the candidates and media just pretend that the president is actually an absolute monarch...

Sadly we've had plenty of occasions in history where the president himself has actually believed such bullshit.
