I think it is bogus for those places to censor comments about Muslims. We need a way to censor these dipshits from exploding themselves, killing innocent folk for no reason or for their definitely not real deity, etc.
Innocent people are being murdered and these shitheads are worried about some hate speech on god damn facebook? It's nice to know in these troubling times the world still keeps its priorities in check.

The problem is that they mean well (at least some of the time). Most refugees coming in just want to not get shot at. They don't want any trouble, but those are likely to be the ones affected if locals start forming mobs and going nuts. These media people think censorship is going to help people, when it really isn't when taken to the extremes it is.
Offenders should be prosecuted. Harshly. The shit going on in Germany is despicable, but if anyone thought that this was going to be a smooth transition, they would have been kidding themselves.
But given how unprepared Germany seems to be for the shit going on it seems like they really did think things would go a lot smoother. They wanted to look good to the world so they opened up with open arms and let too many in too quickly.
Well that worked out well(except not at all well). Now we just sit back and watch the clusterf*ck unfold.

They just weren't as prepared as they should have been. You have to remember, European countries have been taking in refugees for years now, just not in the absolutely massive amounts they've had to since this whole thing started. They're used to it going relatively well.
They should have been better prepared for whatever might happen.

Perhaps, but then to me the government ushered in all these strangers without really bothering to check what kind of people they were some. Some were murderers, rapists, etc.
But then what do I know, I'm sure they did thorough background checks for every refugee allowed in, right?

The bad thing is here, is if Germany falls apart, so does the entire EU which is already extremely fragile due to Greece, debt and failing currency.

Ideally background checks would be done, but if the information isn't obtainable, how would they check?
A lot of people are coming from war-torn countries, where those kinds of records just wouldn't be available. Do you let nobody in because you want to go through rigorous psychological testing for every single one? Does Germany alone have enough people to do something like that while providing some sort of camp where they can keep them all separated from the general population?
