Which is why Kiba and momma Kiba killed the Pain weakest to Taijutsu correct? It's why Choji and daddy Choji could kill Pain correct? Lee and Guy are not the only taijutsu specialists the village has and Naruto in Sage Mode is certainly stronger than Rock Lee.
Also you have a weird definition of on par with considering Madara did basically dismiss 7 Gates Guy with one attack. Specifically a smack.
Don't misunderstand though. 7 Gates Guy would certainly wreck a lot of Pain's bodies and Deva Path would basically have to go all out to counter the Afternoon Tiger. But that is one shot before Guy is basically done. Pain simply has more lasting power in a fight.
Or are you both suggesting that Guy is that far above Jiraiya?

he wouldnt even need 8 gates honeslty if 6 tails naruto can over power shinra tensei 7 gates would be more than enough not to mention lee is there with him.
if kakashi, gai and naruot, can take out more than one body by themselves lee and gai are mroe than capapble of doing the same if not more.
Guy injured Sage Madara when he opened the Eighth Gate. With 7 Guy could do nothing to Madara. Hell, he failed to do much to Edo Madara with an Afternoon Tiger to the face, though he did break the imperfect Susano'o.
7 Gates could potentially overpower Shinra Tensei(though not the one used against the village) but whenever we see him use it it is basically a one and done attack. Guy has never used Afternoon Tiger in rapid succession and against a guy who can heal his dead bodies that is a bad spot to be in.
Kakashi died and Sage Naruto had to help doing as well as he did.
Sakura did more harm to Kaguya than Seven Gates Guy did to Juubidara. Does that mean she is above him? No of course not lol.
