Most people don't want Itachi to be that good. Cause he is sorta the worst character.

Not that that has any bearing on the fight. Against one Pain body Itachi will win. Against Nagato I have no idea honestly.

Naw, worst character is between Danzou, Kaguya and that Shin Sr. dude I think.

Although to be fair, Danzou had a good death scene, and Shin Sr. had no eyebrows, so Kaguya takes the title.

Problem is I'm not being asked to give metaphorical blow jobs to those characters like Kishi wants me to for Itachi.

Danzo used to be my least favorite but the guy had cool wind techniques, a pretty good fight with Sasuke, and a good last line. Shin Sr. was never meant to be anything other than a quick villain to beat up and he did his job fine enough I guess. Kaguya....isn't so much a character as she is just the Juubi in lady form. I see what Kishi is doing there(creating a foil to Kushina) but it failed to impress in every way lol.

What?! How is Danzō not the best character in the entire manga? He was the head of the intelligence department of the Anbu-unit and he had his scouts's bodies sealed so they couldn't leak information; and his entire arsenal of techniques were stolen from deceased ninjas, something that was hinted to take place as early as the Zabuza arc. He was literally the only competent ninja we got to know.

itachi did have two jinchurikki with him at the time

That isn't a distraction, that's concealment. Nagato isn't looking somewhere else/has his attention diverted when Itachi stabs him. Also, ninjas make a living out of using deception.

~ With this logic, I can ignore a lot of feats in the series. One of them is mentioned in this very thread; Gai's feat of ripping Madara a new one. He had considerable help from Minato, Kakashi, Lee, and Gaara. So obviously that is not Gai's feat, right?

To be fair I also don't care for how Itachi beat Nagato. Mostly because it felt rushed and awkward.
