Is Superman far and away more powerful than Thor and Surfer?

In the past, Iirc he brought out some figure like Wraith was 4x stronger? Or something to that effect...

He absorbed more power than Superman. Superman was doing it for 25 years. Wraith was doing it for 75 years.

Simple observation.

Wraith was 3-4 times stronger than Superman too if you see the way he absorbed sunlight and the amount of time he did absorb that.

Funny, eh? I'd bet being stronger than Superman by that margin would place Wraith above Kurse too.

mmm

Superman could beat 5 Thors at once.

So Superman absorbs ~140GW of solar energy. Wraith absorbs <160GW. I'm no mathologist, but that certainly doesn't look like a difference of 3-4x to me.

Is there something I'm missing..? 😕

What? He absorbed more power than Superman at any given time and absorbed for thrice the time Superman did

Why wouldn't he be proportionately powerful?

Well if he has absorbing it for 75 years like Abhi says then he would be.

Superman absorbs that power for 25 years.

Wraith absorbed that much power for 75 years.

So this is assuming neither of them expended any energy whatsoever during that time?

Just going off what our resident Superman expert posted.

Superman was actually expanding energy on regular basis and even got depowered in the meantime.

Wraith was inactive since Hiroshima barring a few black Ops services.

That's... Thin.

I understand if you think Wraith is stronger, but trying to numerically quantify it with any sort of accuracy is a bit silly.

Too many factors involved. To make that statement, you'd have to know things like how much energy their cells can store, how much they expend at any given time, how much actual sunlight each has absorbed, etc etc.. And that's just me touching the surface... Dude man you be reachin too much...

Why? The rate of absorption was given as a reason why Wraith was stronger.

To think duration of absorption didn't play a part? Nonsense.

WTF are you talking about now? The rate of absorption was the direct reason Wraith was stronger.

Pretty much.

2011 - Went rounds with Hela who was massively amped by the Twilight Sword. It had the power to alter reality as we later found out.

2011 - Focused through Iron Man's armor, he summoned divine transformative lightning that transformed Diablo into a mortal before fully acclimating himself to omnipotence. Diablo at that time was rewriting the fabric of creation after absorbing the combined powers of all the pantheons with the Destroyer armor.

2011 - "Thor strikes a wounding blow to Galactus' head."

2011 - His fight with Glory(a super god made of up a pantheon of 10 thousand gods).

2011 - Hurt the Chaos King with a lightning shot. By that time CK had already destroyed 99.7% of the multiverse.

2011 - Killed Atum the Demogorge-God Eater(Written by Fraction to be "an Eternity level cosmic concept"😉.

2011 - For 40 days and 40 nights, he fought "all the gathered legions of Hel" along with the Warriors Three. The Three were beaten down so for 40 more days, he fought the hordes by himself until no one was left to fight. He fought without food and rest. And btw no Mjolnir.

2012 - For a time resisted the destructive effects of the unbinding stone through sheer will. It had the power to repeal the laws of physics by unbinding matter, spatial relationships, and time... Reality itself. It already had destroyed an entire continuum into nothingness.

2012 - Along with Surfer, he tanked the combined attacks of Galactus, Scrier, and the Other... And survived. It was hinted that 2 of them alone had the power to destroy the multiverse and somewhat belittled what happened in Chaos War.

2012 - Briefly knocked out the Phoenix entity. He did this with a hammer toss so powerful that it had enough force to send the entity to a far off planet. The force needed to do that must have been tremendous.

2012 - Actually damaged the Phoenix entity by clipping its wings!

2013 - As Young Thor, he knocked out Gorr who had already butchered countless gods(skyfathers, hell lords, etc..)

2013 - Was hitting Gorr so hard that the side effects alone were indirectly shattering celestial bodies including damaging a far off world.

2013 - Defeated Gorr by tanking and absorbing the entirety of the omniversal god bomb explosion meant to kill all gods for all time.

2013 - Defeated Ymir(skyfather level) and destroyed his physical shell in the process... Ultimately sent him packing to "lick his wounds" in Jotunheim.

2014 - Survived Exitars energies after being thrown into the wound he created with Jarnbjorn. Kang described his energies as the "most powerful energy source in all existence".

2014 - Destroyed an Odin forged barrier that separated the Tenth Realm from Ygdrassil. Later Loki broke a similar barrier by using a few billion megatons of exploding warships at its weak point.

2015 - Ate a blast, tanked a blow from his black uru arm, and blocked a hammer slam with his forearm all from a Beyonder... But still kept coming.

2015 - Along with Hyperion, waded through a sea of Beyonders damaging their physical shells in the process.

And that's not even all the "operating out of his tier" showings from those years. Am I now going to classify him beyond high herald? No... Why? It would be flat out ridiculous given his countless other showings...

I see two that questionable but overall, amazing post. Abstract Thor for the win.

Next, you're gonna say a dude who's been eating burgers for 75 years and is a couch potato is 3-4 times more powerful than a 25 year old athlete....

No other counters. Good. Very good.
