It's very clear that this was planned, possibly well in advance. The potential that this was a Muslim extremist attack can't be dismissed at this point, but then it's also entirely possible that a devout Muslim can shoot up a place for a reason other than their religion (though if I had to guess, I'd say it's more likely that religion did play a major part in this).
That's similarly to how I see it, I wouldn't be surprised if Religion was the reason these people did it. That it was planned and included multiple people definitely seems like it makes it unlikely that it is just a disgruntled employee, since that seems unlikely to convince others to go on a spree, though I guess not impossible.
Regardless of whether it has to do with Religious motivations or not, I could imagine going on the pilgrimage to be something a devout Muslim would do, if they were to do something like that, doesn't necessarily mean they were radicalised in Saudi Arabia or anything like that.
I think even if it turns out to be an attack ordered directly by ISIS, that shouldn't distract from the fact that this is more a problem with guns than it is a problem with Muslims.
I'm really dreading the inevitable moment when one of the Republican candidates calls for restricting Muslims' rights to guns without diluting gun proliferation otherwise.

Can we stop the semantics game please? That definition of conspiracy is very broad. There's a difference between criminal conspiracy- which pretty much means the same as pre-meditated, just involving more than one person- and the kind of great deceptive conspiracy that people generally refer to around here (and belongs in the conspiracy forum).
Pointing out that this matches the definition of criminal conspiracy is information of no value. Let's move on.

Blaming Republicans? Really? Which of the two trolls above did that? You don't have to quote them (I have them on ignore for a reason) but I'm curious which one did that ridiculous non-sense. It doesn't surprise me that either one would.

Funny how they ignore the fact that this shooting happened in a"gun free" zone... AGAIN. If the law-abiding citizens who were killed would've been allowed to carry there would've been less innocent victims. The left still doesn't get it (and probably never will). Criminals and terrorists are gonna find a way to get guns no matter what gun control laws are enacted. Actually, most of them already have guns so passing tighter gun control laws won't really even make a dent in these killings. The only thing that is going to do that is banning all of these "gun free" zones and actually let people actually be able to defend themselves instead of being like "pigs to the slaughter". Gun free zones are target rich environments for stuff like this happening yet progressives like Obama and Hillary continue to ignore that. It seems they have no interest in actually fixing this, they wanna make it worse. Just like with everything else they've done.
