The guy downright lost to a less than padawan girl, who didn't even know what a lightsaber was... yet, somehow, he's going to make it to 9 here.. Please. As of now, he's a weakling in saber combat with a few okay force feats. We'll see what completing his training means, but as of now, he's pretty meh as far as impressive goes.

Some people have, apparently, absolutely no concept of Rey's character. Did you watch the movie? Just asking...

TIL: Rey doesn't know what a lightsaber is, despite having an intimate relationship with one since birth.
You don't say... where in the movie was it shown she had intimate knowledge of one? Shit, she didn't even know how to ignite one when she finally had one in her hand. I swear when she first saw one... she asked what it was.
Further, please expand how your reasoning for excusing him losing to a less than Padawan Rey? Please fill me in

You don't say... so where was her extensive training shown? Did she have any? She didn't even know she had force powers till the middle of the movie, and even then, certainly had no training with it. Yet, she still managed to defeat him... and this is remotely impressive for him how?

"Padawan Rey?"
You mean the obvious daughter of Luke Skywalker who's raw Force power is probably rivaled only by her father and grandfather in canon? 😬
And especially given her "oneness" moment that resembled Skywalker's "Oh. I get it, now" against Dooku, losing to her isn't some terrible feat for Kylo Ren.

Actually she's just as liking to be his sister than Luke's daughter. Considering Jacen of the books had a sister, and she played a pivotal role there.
Regardless, even if she is Luke's daughter and has a strong connection with the force... SHE HAD NO TRAINING. The point you reference about Anakin and Dooku isn't the least bit applicable. Anakin at that point had extensive training. Even then, he still lost. She had next to know training, didn't even know she could use the force until half way in the movie... yet she still bested somebody with years of training. Sorry it was a low showing, period. No amount of excuses change that.

Yeah, no shit. Her skill was completely raw. She didn't beat Kylo Ren through her mastery with a lightsaber, but through her command of the Force blossoming into existence.
She realized her potential. The potential as the heir to Luke Skywalker, who in return was the heir to the Chosen One.
She won because she's more powerful with the Force. The Force worked through her and overcame him, just like we've seen Skywalker's do before.
And no, Skywalker molested Dooku and chopped off his head. He didn't lose, the hell? And the "power boost" was found through a change of mental state and a realization of potential and where to find power.
Rey discovered her version of this, used it, and won because of it. I'm not saying we should completely ignore his defeat, but going "kylo ren sux dik" is laughable and pathetic.
I probably won't respond to your next post. I have other things to do.
