So? I always assumed he was pissed because the DS plans were stolen. And now I find out.... that WAS the reason! Yeah... I really needed that. Exposition over imagination... movies in the 21st century.

It's almost like his presence in R1 was purely to make unthinking fanboys cum in their nostalgia pantaloons.

Didn't they beam the ds plans (from the physical disc) to leias ship, then put in on another physical disc? Don't remember. Would have to watch R1 again

Nope. It was beamed to the rebel cruiser. Leia's ship was in the hull, it was brought there physically on the disc or whatever it was.

The physical disc made it hard to write around that it seems....

It's almost like they needed an excuse to shoehorn a connecting scene of Leia into Rogue One so that the audience wouldn't forget that ANH takes place right after it ends. That's what we get for being a retarded audience who can't put 2 and 2 together anymore. Now please spoon-feed me more cool scenes of Darth Vader randomly showing up at the end to brutally kill a bunch of people. How I will clap!
