Black Lives Matter thread

This is the damage BLM has done, now pretty much cops are supposed to allow blacks to get away with whatever they want:

http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/2-chicago-officers-relieved-of-powers-after-suspect-killed/ar-BBv2LoB?li=BBnbfcL

Black guy stole a car, gets stopped by the cops, then SPEEDS away and sideswipes a cop car and another persons car trying to get away..the cops fire and the guy dies. The article tries to say they found no weapon on the guy, but the CAR was the weapon. Yet these cops are getting shit over this. The case is still being investigated but damn..are they just supposed to let this f*cking criminal get away? I don't get it. If the cops stop you and you run and you're smashing into cars and shit and you get shot it is YOUR FAULT.

This happened in Chicago so you know what..the cops should just stop policing these ghetto's. There is no right way to go about things anymore.

It's amazing that Chicago is considerably worse than la.

Perhaps there are more BLM activists there.

@ Surtur, where in Chicago do you live? I lived in Evanston for some time.

Well yeah there are a lot of parts of Chicago that are great, downtown Chicago is an excellent place to go, especially during the winter, but there are these ghetto's that are just..when you enter them you feel like you just entered another country. It's not just the crime, but the look of the place. People living there don't even care enough to maintain their homes. The grass isn't cut, the homes look like shit, but they make sure they have rims on their cars that is for sure.

It's depressing in a way because you have neighborhoods that 10-15 years ago were decent places to live, but now they are horrid places due to a vast change in population. I don't mean a change as in more people, but rather a change in the racial makeup of the neighborhood. It's an uncomfortable truth. But yes the crime aspect is obviously the worst. I have mentioned before that 6th graders at this one public school(which isn't in a good neighborhood) came up with a facebook-ish page meant just for students to keep in touch over the summer because they didn't know if they'd all live to come back in the fall. Half the time the gang bangers miss who they want to kill and up killing someone innocent. These neighborhoods are honestly no place to raise children.

As for where in Chicago I live, I am very close to Midway Airport, which is on the southside of Chicago. My neighborhood has indeed over the years slowly gotten worse, but not as bad as some others. I would rather not have to move, but I get the feeling eventually I will be forced out of this neighborhood. Which would be unfortunate because it is my childhood home. Years ago when my parents decided they wanted to get an apartment they left the house to my brother and I(the house is paid for).

Wow, thanks for that account 👆

TBH what you say is really staggering.

In my personal experience I never had the time to explore all of Chicago, but it seems some neighborhoods are not even worth it.

Agreed on downtown Chicago which I really enjoyed. BTW I recommend going on the architectural tour on the Chicago river 👆 And Evanston was a very peaceful neighborhood.

I live in Chicago too, it's kind of insane how segregated it is. I've lived here most of my life, and I still can't believe Lincoln Park Roscoe Village and nice northern neighborhoods are part of the same city as Englewood.

So BLM finally released what their agenda is and of course it's the type of stupid shit you'd expect from this group:

http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/groups-affiliated-with-black-lives-matter-release-agenda/ar-BBv63aj?li=BBnb7Kz

They are demanding essentially a reparations committee. Nobody deserves anymore reparations for this. You already get a shitload of free money from welfare.

Oh and there is this lovely gem from the article:

"movement organizers are calling for an end to the type of militarized police presence seen at protests in cities like Ferguson"

Translation: we want to be free to loot, burn, and block traffic without the cops stopping us.

Also look at how the media tries to manipulate us, the very first line from the article shows the agenda:

"Ahead of the second anniversary of the fatal police shooting of an unarmed black teenager in Ferguson, Missouri"

Lol yeah, they just describe Mike Brown as an unarmed teen. No mention that this thug died due to trying to attack a cop..all we get is he was an unarmed teen.

Well, just leave them to themselves, if they want that. See what happens next. mmm

LOL liberal media FTW!

I have a list of demands too: stop committing so much f*cking crime disproportionately to everyone else. That is my demand. Stop using poverty as a scapegoat.

I live on the North side of Chicago and work downtown, so I do not see much of this violence at all.

I lived in west Pullman park. What hs u went to?

It's like everyone has gone crazy when it comes to race these days. Have you ever seen those videos on from buzzfeed where it's called like "20 questions black people have for white people"? Well I'm watching one that is about questions white people have for white people. Here are some of the questions asked:

-Why would you ever say thuglife
-Why do you always get upset when someone doesn't want to go hiking
-Why do you get uncomfortable when you see a table of black people, but not when you see an entire restaurant full of white people
-Why do we make it so we only have pumpkin in the fall(seriously this is a question)
-Why do we always brag on instagram about going to really cool cultural festivals even though we went with our white friends(again, I'm f*cking serious lol)
-They say the oscars is just about white people congratulating other white people for being white

Holy shit the white guilt is strong. The very first thing they ask is why there is a stereotype about black people and chicken and they say it isn't right. Then a few questions later they ask why white people can't dance.

Because racial stereotyping and cultural differences are the first things we learn in school and television. Not a difficult concept to grasp

Nobody said otherwise, is that difficult to grasp? What I was pointing out is they complain about stereotyping and then..stereotype.

Dont condescend...anyway why bother? Anyone who labels shows their ignorance. It's best to ignore it.

Indeed.

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/korryn-gaines-five-year-old-son-shot-dead-killed-randallstown-baltimore-police-during-arrest-traffic-a7167651.html

According to the info from the Independent, when the police came to arrest her (she was a suspect, had been on several arrest warrants) she had her child seated on the floor next to her and a shotgun aimed at the police officers. She also threatened to kill them.

During the standoff the police shot and killed her while she responded with a few rounds of gunfire. As the police officer says in the video in the link, in this tragic circumstances the child was struck by a round too.

Moreover, from the article: "Baltimore County Police said the boy was taken to hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries, and would not confirm whether the child was struck by a bullet fired by his 23-year-old mother or police."

In short, truly terrible incident.

Profiling paints a broad brush but to say its ignorant is ironic.

Ghetto mentalitily is some of the most dangerous shit around, if you haven't seen it then I can understand your position.

You mean this?

http://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/baltimore-county-police-fatally-shoot-korryn-gaines-boy-5-hurt-n621461

Yeah, utterly horrible this horrid mother put her child in danger and tried to kill the cops over some traffic tickets. The good news is the hero cops took her out, yay!! Cops were 100% in the right. We also know that not all of the cops were white because if they were white that would of been in the headline.

Yet what do some blacks do? Say dumb shit like "oh they killing people over traffic violations now!" lol. Unf*cking believable. They killed her because she pulled a shotgun on them.

Also Neph I want you to click that link and read the title of the article. Or here I will save you the trouble:

"Baltimore County Police Fatally Shoot Korryn Gaines; Boy, 5, Hurt"

Lol. Doesn't that make it seem like the cops just shot her for no reason? Doesn't it make it sound like she wasn't a criminal who tried to murder cops over traffic violations? Why do you think that is?

Oh shit it gets better. Relatives describe her as "feisty but respectable" lol(because women who fire at the cops with a shotgun while their kid is there are soo respectable). I needed a good laugh man, thanks for bringing this to my attention.
