Racism

Key Things to remember, the democratic party was the party of racism all through out American history.

Republicans have always been more diverse, the democrats tactic to flip this has been to suppress blacks and hispanics and other minorities including illegals and make them look like the care about them, but if you look at what Clinton did in the 90's with NAFTA he destroyed black communities and low income hispanic communities.

Larry Bird, Margaret Sanger, George Soro's, Clintons have all been against blacks \ cumulatively for more then 100 years.

I'm confused because you quoted me as saying something I didn't actually say.

That was supposed to be Astner, but for some reason I couldn't quote him properly.

This brings up an interesting point: how far does the age old excuse of "it was a different time" go when it comes to racism? Since that is what people will say for some of those names you listed..like Sanger.

I don't know man, Larry always teamed up pretty well with Robert Parish.

Democratic and Republican are just names. The democratic party used to be conservative in values (conserving slavery) and capitalistic (limited intrusion of federal government in states rights), and the republican party was liberal in values (abolishing slavery) and socialist (intrusive federal government overriding states rights). Now the opposite is true, so if you are condemning the democratic party for its past conservatism, you are pretty much condemning the current state of the GOP.

I mean, hey, it's not democrats who are getting endorsements from racists like Phil Robertson and David Duke. Focus on the current racism of the GOP rather than the past racism of the Democratic party.

Grimes just says crazy things all the time.

As far as racism, I can name an instance of institutionalized racism currently occurring in my area:

Republican Senator Defransisco is opposing legislation that would allow those with Section 8 housing (aka poor minorities) from moving into suburban (aka predominantly white) neighborhoods. When asked why, he stated suburban landlords "don't deserve to have their property trashed" (clearly ignorant of the fact that Section 8 has required HUD inspections to ensure no property malfeasance from either the landlord or tenant)

Well now hold on..suburbs are usually nicer areas with nicer homes, right? So why should people in section 8 housing be given homes in the suburbs? I just don't get it.

Especially if you are saying people don't want it because they will make it "trashy" and then you are saying there are inspections so they aren't really trashy..well then why do they need to move to the suburbs? You can't always get what you want when it comes to free shit.

I get free medical care from the county, but I don't expect them to be flying in the best surgeons in the world to operate on me. Why? Because I'm not even paying for it, beggars can't be choosers.

Exactly, what gives minorities the right to rise from poverty? Who are they to demand equal rights?

So notice this:

http://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/baltimore-school-officer-charged-after-hitting-teen-video-n534871

Black officer caught on tap being violent against a teen in school. Has anyone noticed this story hasn't received as much attention as when the white cop attacked the black teen?

But I never said they shouldn't be allowed to live in the suburbs. If they can afford to live there then okay. If they can't afford to live there then..why should they be given housing there? Can you explain this?

You see because relying on free housing is the exact opposite of "rising out of poverty".

Don't worry man, I agree with you. I don't want no minorities in my neighborhood either.

But again it's not about not wanting minorities..it's about not giving away free suburban housing. That goes for anyone, not just minorities.

I live in Chicago and not in a suburb so I'm SURROUNDED by minorities and thus have zero problem living in the same neighborhood as them.

This also isn't just about minorities. I've known white people who were Section 8.

So your mssg is that only poor minorities live in section 8 housing otherwise if it was white folks in section 8 housing they would have no problem?

Yeah the thing is I'd be surprised if we had more poor minorities in this country then poor whites. Whites outnumber the other races by a lot..so you can't pretend some of them don't live in poverty. There is a trashy looking trailer park about 20 blocks from where I live. It's honestly a shithole, but at the same time the people there are poor and yet it's not a gang warzone with little kids getting shot in the face.

Well there's a reason why minorities are called... minorities.

Speaking of reasons can you share why poor people should be given free housing in the burbs?

Because there's no room left in the projects and the city/county doesn't have the funds to start another project and it's better to let some people move into the suburbs than to form favelas.

That would just be a logical reason one might think of, I personally don't think minorities should be allowed to live among us.
