No thanks I think I'll stick to just asking what was bad about it.I'm tempted to look up spoilers now and post them or PM them to you though.
Someone did mention that the first hour was lame.
At first, I thought it was the typical hater talk, but after seeing the movie... kinda agree.
It was dark, some kids were close to tears and few fans even complained about it loudly after leaving the theater... I felt it should've been darker. Either go all the way or don't, simple.
Mon Mothma looks way too young, but the actress does a good job. There is a nice link to the prequels, too (
Spoiler:).

I agree, first 45 minutes or so are very boring. A lot of needless exposition and character that's completely obsolete: Saw Gerarra...
I think it would have worked a lot better if Jyn had taken over the operation of a deceased Saw, operated under his name and had a band of rogue rebellious operators that had long before Jyn grew up separated themselves form the Alliance. That way she'd had to overcome a bit more: a) the legacy of her Imperial father and b) the thought antipathy towards an alliance she didn't know herself.
It certainly would have created an opportunity for a stronger bond between the rogue crew. They kinda join forces for no apparant reason and never really had a real bond between them is this movie.
And as for gritty... it quite warlike, but still pretty clean.
So entertaining: yes. Better than the prequels: yes. Better than the OT and TFA: no. It kinda lacks heart and soul. (it does have a great Darth Vader though)

Nobody agrees so far vin
Like I said, this was the Real tribute to the Original Star Wars IMO.
But you shouldn't be too surprised knowing I'm admittedly not the biggest TFA fan.

Well that has to be
Spoiler:
Vader killing Rebels just because it's Vader killing Rebels. But loved so much of it. The entire final battle. That was the kind of X-Wing excitement so wanted from TFA. And I was just blown away by how much Tarkin there was. Creeped out, but simultaneously blown away
