I'd say: take 20-30 minutes out. Especially in the first hour. Maybe a 90 minute movie would have suited the story better.

So I saw this movie a second time and can't help but notice that Krennic takes blaster bolts and explosions like a champ. Oh and CGI Tarkin doesn't look that bad or not as bad as

Still didn't really care about any of the Rogue One crew and the last 30 minutes are still worth the price of admission IMO.

Him and his friend probably teamed up with that snow monster from Hoth. There are just so many people who have lost limbs after coming into contact with Luke.

Obi Wan let himself get killed because he didn't want to face the retaliation of space pirates that was bound to happen. We all thought the dude was selfless, but no..he just knew death via lightsaber would be much more swift and painless.

I agree the action at the tail end is the best part of the film. Krennic is a ****ing champ. He was the best character in the film. Leia looks worse I agree. I also agree the heroes weren't that memorable especially the star. I liked her father more than I did her and he was in it less than ten minutes Iirc.

FYI Kenobi didn't beat Jango Fett but he took limbs away from Vader leaving him in an emotional crybaby state. Continue to ignore the evidence from the films and pretend force powers equal automatic win against someone without them.

Well, the battle in RO was better though. The one in TFA was a bit rushed.

But then, SW is not about effects and battles... it's about story. That, though not very original, is something TFA did a lot better.

Besides, RO is copying heavily from ROTJ. Why don't I hear these same complaints for this movie?

Planet surrounded by Imperial shield. The rebels use stolen shuttle with older code to pass to the planet surface. rebel fleet arrives to destroy the shield in order to (in the end) destroy the DS? Stars Destroyers collide and provide part of the victory...
The entire space battle was a complete rehash of ROTJ
