Yup, sounds like I'm right to hold off on this nostalgia-milking crapfest...

😂

YouTube video

Honestly, its kind of sad how much RLM has degenerated and gone up their own asses. I havn't even watched this and I'm not sure if I'm going to considering their output lately.

I saw it with my three teenaged sons... and we all thought the first hour was boring. It was...

Honestly figured you of all people would have loved this, being an OT person. Didn't find the first half or so "boring" myself, just a bit slow, but the film as a whole came together very nicely.

Do wonder what they cut/changed with the reshoots.

Same. I enjoyed it myself. I loved the world building and how they showcased the darker side of the Rebellion.

LoL.

Everyone should watch it.

I loved the grimy politics feel, where the "good guys" have to do not-so-good to get their objectives.

Also don't get the hate for Tarkin's cgi, I found it to be rather good/acceptable.

Thats funny cause thats what some of us think the Modner Fan Base is doing.

Yeah, people hated the PT for the "boring ass politics" but I loved it. No problem with it in this film, either.

But, yeah, I was bored. Seemed like they could have done a far far better job in the first hour.

I'm one of the few people in my generation that doesn't hate the PT, sure it has its problems, especially epI, but every SW film has entertainment value, imo. 1-7, R1.

Thats what makes your Gen so SPEEECIAL Robbie.

Unlike with My Generation of when we see something that has Problems and we say That has Problems. We need to fix The Problems so we don't have Problems iwth it anymore. Cause we don't like Problems.

But not you guess. You just accept them and keep doing them over and over.

Good for you Guys.

You have PROBLEMS!

Much like Star Wars.

PROBLEMS!

Why not? They have reasonable and intelligent assessments of movies (with some wacky mocking humor obviously). I find that I usually agree with them.

I stopped 9 minutes into the review. Way too many double standards especially given how much they fanboyed over TFA. Literally all of their complaints about familiar things appearing in the film can be levied against TFA, there were TIES, Walkers, lightsabers, and of course TFA followed ANH far closer in plot points to Rogue one where understandably the plot was essentially how ANH happened as opposed to aping it point for point. Some of the criticisms they made are outright retarded

TFA milked the Nostalgia a lot harder than Rogue one

They're complaining about familiar things appearing in a movie that takes place literally days before A New Hope? Lol, trash. See thats why I'm down on them now. They're just pointlessly and pettily criticising stuff. Whether or not they like something seems to be fairly arbitrary and simply based on how much coffee Mike has had. They don't give movies a fair shake anymore. All their recent Marvel reviews are just Mike complaining that there are so many Superhero movies now.

Honestly can't wait to see it again in the theater

Enjoyed my 2nd viewing much more than the first, surprisingly.

Thank goodness people are seeing stuff like this. This is how I felt every time I read a PT hate review back in the day. R1 and TFA weren't that bad...

But we all knew that there would be a plethora of haters.

I'm kinda worried about the Han prequel.

No, **** the prequels. They're utter dogshit.

There's not a single thing you liked about them?

No, praise the prequels. They're quite amazing.

I thought so, too.
