Wonder Woman

One of the best comic films ever.

Amazing.

Just got back from this. ...didn't like it beyond the first act.

This flick is not that funny, Boring in stretches and an unsatisfying and very predictable ending. The animated version craps all over this flick.

Gadot was ok. Chris Pine was great in every scene. Amazons were great and all Amazon Island scenes were good.

Biggest problem is there was no tension whatsoever as she seems invincible even when facing Ares in the middle of the war....ugh. Awful CG end fight.

Have no desire to watch this again 5/10. B o r I n g. Not sure what the raving critics were smoking. Movie sucked to me.

The DCEU is finally heading in the right direction. While not as good as Marvel's best it's up there.

Most likely the solo movies will be the best of the bunch

if WW is the start of that.

Don't care. Still 5/10 and still boring and predictable....and that had nothing to do with gender. I repeat...would not watch again and my wife liked it less - probably because of similarities to Captain America.

Once she leaves the island this film becomes a snooze fest and felt like rehashed material. Part of the lack of any tension is due to Ares representation here.

This was definitely on par with MOS for me. Probably even a little better, since I liked the 3rd act more. Fight scenes were also better. Both Gal and Chris had some great chemistry. Overall, a B or B +. Have to watch it again.

You thought Diana fighting Ares was better than Superman vs. Zod and crew? I definitely disagree with that.

Most definitely. The only complain I have is the CGI. MOS had better CG. WW was much more enjoyable, overall. Much better directed, better cinematography, etc...

Agreed. Man of Steel is still the best from DC to date for me.

Still very pissed about how Ares was represented here in contrast to WW. VERY disappointing.

I thought the movie was great, Gal really came into her own and killed it; so did Pine. The Ares "twist" I saw coming a mile away but he was the right type of menacing; they should have blacked out his face under the helmet though; seeing that foppish old man face under Ares' armour was a bit cringe worthy lol
