On par with MOS, you mean it sucked a$$?

I really wanted to see this, now I'm wondering if I should wait for the DVD.

Holding out for the vhs myself. 👆

I thought the movie was great, Gal really came into her own and killed it; so did Pine. The Ares "twist" I saw coming a mile away but he was the right type of menacing; they should have blacked out his face under the helmet though; seeing that foppish old man face under Ares' armour was a bit cringe worthy lol

Gal was great. 👆

Most definitely. The only complain I have is the CGI. MOS had better CG. WW was much more enjoyable, overall. Much better directed, better cinematography, etc...
Wonder Woman had a smaller budget than Man of Steel. WW had a budget of 149 million to MoS's 225.

Loved it.

She definitely embodied the spirit of the character namely

caring about the innocents that died in the war, and wanting to end the suffering/pain of the soldiers and her bravery in combat
, her portrayal is probably the truest to spirit of a DC character portrayed in the DCEU. Her relationship and naivete was funny in the film, and her relationship with Steve was believable and well done. Ares should've been given a bit more screen time than the

8/10

Best DC movie by miles. 8.5/10

WOW where to start...

I thoroughly enjoyed and liked this. Despite Gal's lack of acting ability, she brought Diana to life. The action scenes were awesome and astounding. They made great usage of the $150 million dollar budget. The cgi was good. Even the humor, I liked.

This is visually stunning.

A few drawbacks though..

Spoiler:
Thewliss as Ares was sort a waste, he needed more screen time, however had I not already known he was Ares, it was really easy to figure out.
Also Danny Huston was wasted as well.

9/10, DCEU best..

One final note: Keep Hack Snyder away from the rest of the DCEU and they should possibly thrive.

He's actually credited as one of the story writer's for this.

Let's stop giving the guy such a hard time. He has done good films outside of the DCEU. The WB execs just gave him too many DCEU films, and more control than he probably should have had IMO.

A mixed bag of reviews so far. I've been excited for this flick and hope to be seeing it in the next couple of days.

I might go see GOTG2 this weekend. Save this for a other weekend.

Wonder Woman is a better movie than Guardians 2.

Possibly but WW will be PACKED this Weekend whereas GOTG2 probably won't.

So it has that going for it.

Well he is a Juggernaut fan so...
😂

This film is much better than Guardians 2.

I doubt that. GOTG2 was great.

But will see for myself (but not this weekend).

So Joss Whedon had Cobie Smulders in mind for his Wonder Woman.

I would have been down with that choice.

Guardians 2 is not my cup of tea.

I hate comedies.
