Wonder Woman Vs Gladiator

WW has her zoom feat which is hella impressive.
Shes consistently shown to be able to block multiple energy beams (including the omega blasts). She consistently shown to fight Superman with peer level speed.

I would estimate Superman is 20-40% faster than her in combat and way faster in traveling speed.

That's not what batman thinks. And since batman can't talk or think for himself, that's not what writers think. WW is faster combat and reflex wise. Already established in the comics.

Different writers have different opinions. Thats why in some scenes Superman appears to be somewhat faster than WW and in other scenes they appear to be peers in speed. One writer does not determine any hard rules when another writer (especially more current) believes differently.

Plus thats only one piece of the puzzle. The other piece is feats.
We use both feats and direct comparisons (unless we have PIS). You can't just use direct comparisons ONLY (abc logic).

That was a direct comparison between the two.Show me where ANY comic states that Superman is faster in combat or reflex speed in ANY comic.

😂

I said no scaling carter (and Wonder Woman said that their speed was equal herself).

What's her best speed feat after New 52?

They are combat speed applicable. You claiming they aren't doesn't change that.

I can't believe I have to explain this again, but here we ****ing go:

Any complex movement that does not simply involve moving from point A to point B really quickly, counts as combat speed. If you can paint a room, cook a dinner, change your clothes, or knit a sweater faster than someone can blink, that's combat speed.

We both know you're only discounting feats because Superman performed them. If it was Diana you'd be all over the ****ing things.

I dont get it. Every single time Diana and Superman fight, Diana holds the edge in speed. Heck, she has even appeared faster than Amazo on occasions and the same Amazo was said to be faster than Superman. Could've swore it was also outright said that Diana is the only person on Earth that can stop Superman. This doesn't hurt Superman appearance at all or make him look weak, Diana is just that good. This thread doesn't have anything to do with Superman anyways.

The only thing you said that's correct is that this thread isn't about Superman... and yet, the people that brought him in to this thread?

tgates and then YOU. Literally.

==

So please, get back on topic.

That's not what combat speed means PR........................................

and lmao why do i wake up to my thread being closed? It was 12 pm and i had just went to sleep HOPING that you wouldn't save qwerty again from the ass whooping, I had loads of essays ready to dismantle him for the entire day again. You can never let me have a civil thread smh

I'm not going to go back and forth about it. If you don't like it, that's fine. But it is what it is.

Telling someone to kill themselves isn't civil.

Also, the thread wasn't great. You asked for people to replicate the feat, then when you were shown none could, started trying to nitpick the feat just because it didn't go your way.

As for this thread, WW wins.

😆
Maybe next time you should actually post scans to prove your characters can match the feat instead of shitting on said feat, Which renders the thread that you made pointless

Seems incredibly disingenuous to make a thread asking people to match a feat, only to end up shitting on said feat, rendering the thread pointless in the first place.

People say it all the time in the real world, that's normal, but whatever

I explained the context of the feat, hence why others could replicate it, nothing more. The writer made him sound mad fast, but they’re saying contradictory things. Is he going the fastest he ever has... or is light only a few hours behind him? It can’t be both, and be consistent.

The statement “light needs hours to catch up” let’s you know this is barely FTL. I mean, when you’re talking about the size of solar systems and interstellar distances..
It takes about 8.2 minutes for light from the sun to reach earth. That’s 1 AU (astronomical unit).
That’s a little over 7 astronomical units within 1 hour.
Our solar system is about 40 AU across. The next nearest solar system is 268,770 AU, or 4.3 light years away. Light YEARS. If it’s only going to take light a few hours to catch up to him, then he’s barely going past the speed of light. And he’s traveling from the emptiest part of the universe I think it said he was dropped in...? The Bootes Void (as it’s called in real life) is 700 million light years away from earth. And light is just a few hours behind him.
For how far he’s traveling... the existence of dinosaurs could play out more than 5 times in the amount of time it Should take him to get back to earth, if it’s only going to take light a few hours to catch up.

It was nothing impressive about it, we can continue it in the comic discussion thread, doesn't matter with me.

I don't understand your post at all.
I stated we USE both direct comparisons AND FEATS. Some scenes have Superman faster than WW (indirect comparisons) and other scenes they are shown to be peers in speed. Outside that Superman speed feats are better than hers. But Superman isn't greatly faster than her (I say about 20-40% faster).

Reread my post

WW wins here mainly because of her gear and defense skills and fighting skills.

@AlbertoJohnAvil
Except none of you said really adressed my points. Im surprised that you spent so much time to write an essay that isnt related to the points I made.
But sure if you want to continue we can go to the comic discussion thread.

And those people are assholes, and should be called out for it.

You can continue it as much as you like, in the proper area. A thread asking for people to match a feat you're going to try debunking in that same thread, is not such a place.

Apparently you didn't get the memo. Going FTL speed through acceleration from 0 requires infinite force and energy in the DC universe. Relativity my friend.

That would mean Superman would travel at infinite speed in the marvel universe. Therefore no one in marvel can match the feat.
🙂

Wonder Woman has been tagged by pretty much every street level character, Batman, Deathstroke, Cheshire, Ivy.

Guess she is barely a street level character.
