Well they weren't much of a threat because of her dragons. At least not until they were equipped with those super scorpions that have pinpoint accuracy and firepower that put even canons to shame... They were more like rail guns then actual medieval weaponry.

And they've also existed as a known technology for like a year or two in-universe, however long she's been in Westeros.

Everyone's getting excited by the opening of Starbucks Winterfell apparently.

That's what it's come down to. The writing is so bad people give more of a **** about a coffee cup accidentally left on the table

for sure they want us to make comparisons tween cersei and dany now. we just now are seeing her inexperience and bad decision making actually coming into play

Bronn used one but it didn't seem nearly as destructive as this ones in this episode. He also only managed to hit the dragon when it was flying directly at him and wasn't able to snipe it out of the air like some skeet shooter.

Lol why are dragons a threat? You're telling me folk in the past didn't figure out launching huge spears at these things can kill them?

And Dani has legit one insane. Jamie is needed once more it seems...

Lol holy shit...

It's almost like this show's screenplay is now coming from the mind of mediocre television writers instead of a talented author.

Is Tywin a Targarean?

Everyone is a Targaryen. Everyone else is Ansem.

Dani is seeming slightly...mad. It's almost like children birthed from incest tend to not always be mentally stable.

Is that why everyone is so crazy and horrible? All the incest?

Though wait no, there are clearly parts of the world where incest is a no no. Varys implies the northerners would not be okay with Jon banging his aunt.

Oh and Sansa is a kunt for pretty much immediately breaking her promise to Jon. At the same time, Jon is dumb as f*ck for thinking he could trust her to keep that secret given how she feels about Dani. All it would take is another meeting where Sansa questions her and Jon is all "we must obey the queen" and Sansa or Arya make a sarcastic comment about his lineage in response.

Bad episode, stuff didn't make sense. Euron needs to go away and they need to stop pretending he's a compelling character.

That I kind of agree with, but I'm really enjoying this season so far. Episode 4 was really good, very intriguing with Varys and Tyrion discussing Dany's lust for the throne.

Things are getting gooooood...

Greyworm is one step closer to the Iron Throne now that his gal won't be distracting him

Yep and yep.

Sansa did the right choice though, she brought Tyrion, one of Danny's closest advisors, up to date into something that could prove crucial to her future dealings with the North. It works both as a fair warning to him and potential leverage for the future

It's just weird to hear her go on about family and yet betray family lol. Jon is still her family.

Though it's true the right move is getting word out...cuz Dani is cray cray. Who would think being treated as a messiah would go to one's head?!

‘Game Of Thrones’ Fans Are Livid The Writers Portrayed Sexual Assault As A Tool For Female Empowerment

I think it is more of a reflection of her current attitude and persona and adaptive capacity, and less how she feels about rape in general being a means of becoming stronger. This sounds like some reaching attempts to be offended. It's a TV show, lighten up folks. At least her offender got what was coming to him.

Yeah I saw it, it's silly. But then again some people got butthurt over Sansa being raped too.

They are acting like she said "In hindsight, being raped turned out to be a good thing". No, she just acknowledged that past traumatic experiences had turned her into a different person. There was no implication that women can't be empowered without rape.

That's not the point. Point is she didn't even wait a second to break her promise to John.

And he was being idiotic thinking she would keep that secret, which brings into question the kind of King he would be (likely a naeive one).

I wonder if Tyrion even realizes that she manipulated him lol. She knows Tyrion is loyal to the queen, but she also knows Tyrion would tell Varys, the one guy who is loyal to the realms and not any specific person. The one guy who would do what needed to be done without letting any fondness for Dani get in the way.

Varys is the only one close to her who would have her killed. I read some reviews and people seemed to think that at the end of their convo when Tyrion says "don't" he was pleading with Varys not to make the secret public. However, I took it as "please don't have her killed". Making the secret public would just lead to more war.

Someone in the room when they are discussing how many troops they lost and where they are going next clearly told Euron and Cersei where Dany etc were going next.
