A lot of the complaints have to do with execution. One week, a dragon is getting sniped from like a mile away, from behind a rock, with pinpoint accuracy. Next week, they can barely get two shots off between dozens of the same weapons before they are all torched. It's almost CW-level.
Meh, it was a lucky shot. But how often do we see this kind of thing with people missing the "good guys" when firing with machine guns? It's a trope, but in this case a little more forgivable. And maybe Dany and the dragon learned to zig-zag and thus become a more difficult target.
Episode 5 was great. I blame Jon Sno for not giving Dany some love. She needed someone to be there for her and didn't have anyone, so she started raging. I'll be surprised if there's never any SJW backlash with this because they're playing directly into the cliche of women not being fit for leadership because they're too controlled by their emotions. I mean, that's exactly what's happening here. Cercei only does things for her children and Dany rages because she feels lonely.
