- Faceless man story line - In the end meant little other than the lazy Night King plot device.

Oh yeah wth happened to him?

What was his whole reason/motive to help Arya?

There was a great fan theory that he was her original fencing instructor who we never saw die in S1. And that Ned knew who he was and hired him to train and protect Arya.

Would have been great reasoning behind that whole thing. Instead of Arya just randomly rescuing him. Because Its hard to even believe now that he could be held captive.

With his powers, yeah. Only way he was caged, is if he chose to be caged.

Exactly, so question is why? And why was he helping Arya so much?

Maybe I was too numb to pay attention properly, but did anyone at all mention where all the Dothraki are going to go? Or also how they all managed to resurrect following the Winterfell battle?

Just finished the final episode.

I don't understand the hate. The first 40 minutes or so was great and the last 40 minutes was perhaps a bit awkward, but intelligent and surprisingly upbeat for GoT. It was a great bookend to the series (meaning Bran in the first and last episode of the entire series). People need to quit b!tchin'.

Yeah, no. The whole last season was garbage.

It really was.

This is what you get when you blindly follow something.

That doesn't make it good writing. Jon, Sansa, Arya, Daenerys, Tyrion and others are all also in the first episode, even Ghost is in the first episode. I wager most TV shows have a character who features prominently in the first and last episodes.

I get his point though. He was being taught to be a King in the first episode.

Arya is ****ing off to the other side of the world.

Jon's mother is Ned's sister. He is as much a Stark biologically as he is a Targ.

Your mothers blood means nothing in the old world, same applies to Westeros.

Jon May have Stark’s blood, but because his father was a Targaryen, he is dragon first, wolf second.

There’s a reason bastard don’t dream of taking their mother’s name.

I dont get how they are supposed to stop Jon accidentally fathering a kid anyway. Did they chop his penis off? Because that would make it a depressing finale.

I'm sure Jon will find a wildling woman to bang.

No, it was like an hour and 18 or 19 minutes. About the same as the previous longer episodes.

I expected there to be a sizable epilogue, these types of stories often do, I think Return Of The King had around an hour or so.

Just a bunch of crybabies whining because their favourite show came to an end and not in a way they would’ve wanted. Sure, it had problems, but they could find those same kind of problems in S1, S2, etc.(the ostensibly good seasons) if they looked for them with the same fervorous butthurt they’re doing with S8.

Agreed. A story can only ever be completely flawless or imperfect, if it's the latter then any and all failings on the writer's part should be ignored. Just turn your brain off bro.
