speaking of the Lord of Light. Are Milesandre and the new Red Woman even aware of each other? Given both women thinking two different people are the promised one, it doesn't seem like they are "talking" to the same god.

Typically (pretty much w/o exception... i can't think of any), members of the same faith are in agreement concerning who the messiah figures are.

At the very least this means one of them (most likely Melisandre) is full of shit and making things up as she goes.

The new Red Woman outright said that Mellisandre had been mistaken, although her heart was in the right place. "honest servants of the Lord of Light can make mistakes," I think is what she said.

Basically it's a matter of interpreting the signs, Mellisandre thought the signs pointed to Stannis (and now thinks they point to Jon), while this new girl thinks they point to Dany.

so, they're guessing. i mean, they're deriving power from something/someone, but it does't appear that either of them have any facts to guide them.

in that regard, it's like any other religion.

oh, and did Mira(sp?) use the dragon glass Sam gave her to make a bunch of weapons? if so, is that now lost? I don't think she had anything with her when escaped with Bran.

also, this show has received crap (rightfully so) for some terrible fight choreography, but i really loved Arya's fight scene. i thought that was well done.

5-22-16 Never Forget

That children of the forest didnt have to kamikaze it self. It could have thrown that magic grenade in those close quarters and had the same effect as her laying there and blowing herself up.😬

I was thinking the same thing that scene lol

Don't even get me started on that mentally retarded Direwolf.

Night King origin was very interesting. Pulling for him.

I'm pretty sure the Children always used dragonglass weapons.

I wonder if the Children made his lieutenants in the same manner in which they made him, or if he made them himself.

I'm wondering why they thought creating immortal creatures who could raise the dead to do their bidding was a good idea. I mean, they had to have seen how it could get out of hand.

its probably all an ass-backwards nonsensical version of what the books will eventually reveal.

From what GRRM has said, it would seem like the White Walkers are the opposites to the Children.

he also said he's not into telling a story about an evil dark lord vs the good guys, which seems exactly where all this is headed in the show.

I'm hoping thats not him tbh. I always liked his origin as the 13th Nights Watch Commander.
