Yeah, and not just in quantity, but in quality as well. Also, why do you guys think Jaqen looked so pleased and proud when Arya refused to become 'no one'? You'd think he'd be pissed.

That would have been completely transparent from our vantange point. We already knew Arya has the advantage fighting in the dark, so if the next scene we see is the Waif returning to Jaqen, we all would have know it was actually Arya wearing the Waif's face. The only way that scenario works in a dramatic sense is if we see Arya look at the candle, but we werent shown the light going out.

That's like saying they should kill off tony stark because iron man 2 and 3 weren't great. We still love the character even if the story arch isn't great.
I thought Iron Man 3 was great. But at least his stories went places. Area just goes the distance (a long trail with the Hound - a long long training session in the House of the Faceless God) and then... it just stops.
GoT has us invest a lot of time in this character but her stories never go anywhere.
Yeah I'm not really sure what manner of arc we're supposed to take away from Arya. I kinda got the impression that the play she watched re-started her desire to return home. But I never really felt like she truly let that go in the first place, so the "reminder" felt pretty flat. The whole assassin training subplot (if it's really over) seems like it was just a "eh, why not" from her POV.
Been a little disappointed with this season so far. I think I'm getting annoyed that the show has so many subplots and characters going at once and nothing is ever really satisfied. There were several pointless scenes in the lastest episode and I'm pissed that they killed Ian McShane in the first episode he appeared in. He was already more interesting than most of the characters on the show.
The Hound tearing people to shreds, though... 👆 There needs to be much, much more of that.
