Or maybe the sand snakes assassinate Tommen to fulfill Cersai's prophecy, plunging kings landing in chaos. Then when Dany arrives rather then having to attack kings landing and conquer it, she'll have to defend it from white walkers who've broken down the wall by now.

Varys' secret mission will likely be similar to the book when he shows up in Kings landing and has his little birds assassinate Kevan Lannister. He's not a big enough character to matter at this point so my guess is it'll be Tommen or Cersei or perhaps Qyburn.Still want to know what this rumour Cersei and Qyburn were talking about is
If his goal is to pull Danny on the throne, then Tommen's dying I would imagine. Or at the attempt will be on his life.
Yeah. Wondering if it's regarding Gendry, that fool is still out rowing in his little boat.
I absolutely love her. She was a beast this past episode.
Anyway, I hope Game of Thrones starts giving someone other than Jon big battle scenes. The dude has had 3 so far. Give me a huge battle centering on Jaime or something. Give Arya a huge set piece centering on an assassination. Anything but Jon surviving against all possible odds again. We know he's going to win.
I don't see how she was a beast this past episode. She withheld valuable information regarding battlefield resources that got hundreds to thousands of their own people killed, and when she had the opportunity to provide council to Jon about Ramsay (or, you know, let him know they in fact did have reinforcements) rather than simply saying something of substance she basically had a tantrum. All Sansa really did was feed Ramsay to his dogs after Jon beat his face in. It's understandable for Sansa to have trust issues given her experiences with Joffrey, Ramsay, and Littlefinger, but Jon is family.
the only beast in this episode was Jon. homie went straight berserker mode.
if you got xp from kills, Jon definitely leveled up from this battle.
people already mentioned it, but i was really disappointed that Wun Wun didn't at least have a big ass log or something. But heh, we all knew he was marked for death anyway.
i hope he wasn't the last giant.

Think it might have to do with the mad King's stashes of wildfire. Perhaps under the Sept of Baelor. Might be a different play on Cersei going crazy paranoid and burning the red keep in the books.

It would have failed if she did let Jon in on the secret. Basically, if she revealed and waited for the full army to arrive, Ramsay would have been more careful about how they waged war, and it likely would have led to a year long siege that lasted well into winter. She used Jon and his army to bait out Ramsay and his forces so she could bring the Vale in to phuck them in the ass from behind. She finally started learning how to play the game, and it resulted in the extinction of a great house and the reinstatement of House Stark as the dominant power in the North. She did absolutely phenomenal, and this win went to her more than anyone else IMO. Plus, those amazing one liners she dropped all episode and the ending scene with Ramsay were absolutely epic. Sansa was great this episode.
Begging the guy who sold you to a rapist for help after initially being, rightfully, angry with him does not make one a beast. Even if one were to accept that Sansa withheld the information of the army as a brilliant strategy, and I don't, that would just make Sansa a complete monster who is willing to sacrifice both her brothers rather than tell the truth. If he had not been wearing his plot armor Jon would have died half a hundred times.
