Yep. Doesn't change the fact that she summoned them one bit lol.

Alright...what are Jon's accomplishments? He defended the Wall but since the Wildlings got through it doesn't mean anything. He also deserted the Wall. Hardhome happened but all that hinges on people believing in the White Walkers. And even if they did, he's not fighting them any more. He left the Watch and claimed a title. He's not an honorable person and is mostly just an idiot.

Do you like...not watch the same show as everyone else?

This. Not sure if she's srs there

Also they nailed this casting. Arya actually does look a lot like Lyanna.

This guy left the watch and is the very same breath talking about how important fighting the White Walkers is.

He disobeyed a direct order from Qhorin that absolutely got the men with him killed.

He stupidly went into Mance's camp and only lived cause Stannis saved him.

He risked men at Craster's Keep and accomplished nothing for his efforts since he left the women to become Ice Zombies(and almost died for it).

He didn't convince the people at Hardhome- Tormund did that. Tanget: Tormund helped slaughter villages and worked with cannibals. He has a quirky crush on Brienne! =D

Take a sword out of his hands and what is Jon Snow's greatest accomplishment?

The haters are too harsh, imo. This show is fun.
I agree. I had a hoot and a holler at Cersei nuking the city.

But it is also pretty bad.

Arya is going to stab Gregor in the back like the sand snake did to Areo Hotah.
And he will easily go down the same way.
Sorry for the late response, but you reminded me about something that actually did bother me.

Areo Hotah was immediately put out of action by a little knife in his shoulder blades, which is frankly not a very good place to stab someone if you want to kill them. Areo Hotah being a very large and strong man who is trained in combat.

Arya was stabbed in her soft belly and still had the strength to throw herself into very likely filthy and infected water, swim through this water for an unspecified amount of time, before making her way to the theater tent.

Man I hate Arya. I hope she gets raped and killed.

Some elements of the show are quite good though. Acting, music, some of the stage design. The directing is also usually good and the effects are mostly good as well, especially for television.

Too bad about those scripts though.

How does this guy not realize that Jon and Sansa are raising an army with the express detail that it's to fight back the Walker hordes. He couldn't do that as Commander of the Night's Watch. Also, technically he did die, so he is free from his vow.

Also that scowl...he can melt snow with that confused, scowly glare.

There's always the possibility he's just trolling. Anyone who despises a show that much would probably struggle to make it through six seasons.

If Jon was prioritizing fighting the White Walkers he wouldn't have gone up against Ramsay comically outnumbered like he did. He would, and should, have prioritized going to each house he possibly could instead of going YOLO at the slight chance of saving Rickon. He also shouldn't have banished the only person with magic on his side.

If Sansa was prioritizing fighting the White Walkers she should have gotten the Vale forces together immediately, treated with Ramsay to get more soldiers, and then headed back towards the Wall to fight them. Instead she let thousands, including the last giant, die for literally no reason.

There is also the small truth that choosing to fight the White Walkers isn't a choice at all. Ramsay would fight them if they came a knocking because they're zombies lol.

I watch it with my folks. They also don't like it but it is a fun way to waste time. I did do a little test though. Let them watch all 5 seasons of GoT(we watch 'em on DvD so ironically I support the show more than a lot of fans probably do) and then I let them watch Breaking Bad. No points guessing what show they won't stop talking about~

you guys don't have a deck of cards, or a scrabble board or something?

I can't imagine sitting around watching some shit i don't like, no matter how bored i am. For instance, I'd literally go run a few miles instead of watching an episode of 'Empire'.

Well there is a few misconceptions there. Seasons 1 through 3 are fine, even with their flaws in my humble opinion. Season 4 was also okay but shakier overall. Season 5 was hot garbage and season 6 I have not watched. And again, even when this show has very big lows that doesn't mean there aren't great things in the show. The High Sparrow is a terrible character, I understand little to nothing about him or why he's even here...but the acting makes me care. This is basically consistent all across the board(for the most part). D&D have big flaws in writing but they're phenomenal at casting(or rather, the person behind the casting is). Season 5 was terrible but I consider Hardhome to be the best battle in the series(more than Blackwater fight me irl) and the CGI is fantastic. There are characters I like more than their book counterparts(Tywin/Jaqen) and some that are different from them but still enjoyable to me(Bronn). There are a lot of reasons to watch this show, first and foremost being that it is a pop culture phenomenon that, for better or worse, will affect television moving forward.

Alternatively my parents are barbers and talking about a super popular tv show is usually a conversation starter and since they're watching it why not?

So HBO confirmed Jon Snow's father

Yeah I saw that. Anyone who's actually paid attention to the show should be able to figure that out though, I guess this was HBO's way of clearing it up to people who didn't make the connection.

Rhaegar Targaryen loved to sing according to Barristan Selmy.

"He liked to walk among the people. He liked to sing to them."

"Rhaegar never liked killing. He loved singing."

What if Jon's real name turns out to mean 'song' in High Valyrian? He's got the blood of the Starks (ice) and Targaryens (fire) coursing through his veins. He would be the Song of Ice and Fire.
