You have to understand that the showrunners legitimately think you are a ****ing retard. Consider that a character in the book to show transition had her name changed to "Yara" because they thought viewers were too stupid to differentiate "Asha" and "Osha".

TBF, after I watched season 1 even I didn't know everyones names and struggled to follow when I started reading Clash of Kings. I didn't even remember who Theon was until I looked it up.

"Battle of the Bastards" was by far my favorite episode of GOT. In fact the last 2 episodes have put this show up there for me as one of my top 5 shows.

Jaime for King!

It won't really matter, Cersai's reign is just a placeholder until Dany comes and takes control

So are the Starks going to be extinct? (in name at least)

Jon is a Snow/Targ
Sansa & Arya will have new last names when they marry
Brans dik dont work
Benjin's wont/cant have offspring anymore. He probably cums icicles now.

So there is no one that will carry the Stark name after the ones are left die out.

Unless they're from a bigger house, most would take the Stark name if they married Sansa/Arya. And even if he finds out about his parents there is the possibility that Jon will choose to be a Stark, which is better imo since Ned sacrificed so much for the little bastard.

And Bran's dick may still work but that's getting into weird scientific technicalities.

We don't know that.

you're batshit crazy if you think Arya is taking any man's last name. Whoever she marries is taking the Stark name.

Sandor's in love with Sansa; he's not settling for Arya a few years down the line.

Do you even Sandor, bro?

Sandor doesn't have a choice in the matter. Arya will "ask" for Sandor's hand, and he will say yes.

do you even Arya, bro?

It's almost like you're implying Sandor would be fearful of Arya because she has a few more kills under her belt now. But surely you're not so foolish when we know Sandor's the nigh-unstoppable murder-machine.

It's like you don't even Sandor at all. Not even a little bit.

lol. calm down, tart.

I'm not diminishing your favorite character (he's one of my favorite's as well). Just being hyperbolic to drive home the point that Arya' not the type to take a mans last name... not even the most badass man she knows.

Spoiler:
Arya would kill Sandor 10/10 times in a real fight.

Season 7 will be delayed until winter of 2017

Fukc everything

Lol

See you in a year and a half GoTs.

Quick question what do you guys think of this theory that Game of Thrones is a story being told by old Sam the Meister. It's a pretty compelling theory that the actor himself subscribes to

It's just getting delayed. They haven't said anything about delaying it until winter from what I've seen.

Global warming is ruining GoT... 😉

Considering there's apparently only 2 short seasons left of the show, I'm in no rush to see those last few episodes right away.

Interesting theory

What's with all the hatred for Snow? Yep, he's relatively speaking a youngin' tossed into a situation he wasn't necessarily ready for. He made some mistakes, but what he managed out on the ice, what he did in hunting down the Watch members who had turned, and in holding the wall show him to be made of pretty fit stuff overall. I don't even get the point of having characters if every single one of them makes perfect decisions, never acts rashly, and never needs help to survive the day.

As to the foolishness about how Sansa should have accepted Littlefinger's offer off the rip, can't agree there either. After what happened to her I'm sure it was all she could do not to have Bryenne or whatever her name is put her sword right through him. And the assertion that she should have somehow parleyed with Ramsey "for the greater good" if she was really focused on rebuilding the house? It makes no sense either. Had she taken on the forces that Littlefinger brought then there would have been no reason not to do exactly what she did and have them ride in unannounced to crush Ramsey; that could have been accomplished whether or not she accepted the help from the start or not. Nothing about who she is or who Jon is suggested that she or he would have considered that aside from him having their brother.

Anyway, that was a great final episode for the season. Seeing what Cersei did and how she acted wasn't just good to see plot-wise, but it was also revealing of the way her personality has shifted throughout the series. I'm surprised she didn't foresee what it would lead to with Tommen and I'm surprised as well that she would make the enemy that she did, but I'm sure that she sees herself as ready for the outcome of those particular deaths.

Liking the buildup for the war, and I'm mostly wondering how intense things will get as winter sets in. Will the Mother of Dragons lay siege and gain ground forcing the kingdom under her thumb, will winter set in and force a truce before the battle can can become too intense? How much with things like Arya's list and Littlefinger's machinations play into the outcome?

Quite amazing that a series that has killed off so many memorable characters still has lots left to give.
