I wouldn't exactly say that her decision making has been perfect in the show. She's made mistakes multiple time in regards to both her progress to power and once she's gotten there. I've never thought of anyone in the show as having demonstrated perfect foresight in his or her actions, but maybe that's just my perspective.

I don't see Dany staying Queen though. Sooner or later, she's going down. Maybe it will be to White Walkers, though I don't know how they can take her Dragons.
I also don't see Jon lasting as King of the North. He'll have Dany trying to put a stop to that chit, not to mention White Walkers coming from the North. The poor guy is sandwiched. Maybe Arya will stealth assassinate Dany to save with the south or something. She seems to be heading South since the promo doesn't show her in the same dreary North setting as Jon and Sansa.
Or mabye Jon will be able to play nice with Dany's dragons and he'll marry her. There has to be something to come from his Targ lineage. This twist wasn't built up for decades for nothing. It's going somewhere.
Well pretty much none of the small houses of the north have any love for the lannisters. So I can see them all going to Dragon Girls side of things. I would wonder if the Veil People will stick with Snow or go turncoat because of Littlefinger and thier leader being that douchball kid.
My biggest fear is that they keep the battle for Westeros going all thru this and season 8 and then Cliffhangering the Series with the Walkers Finally coming thru the wall.
I can see them doing that so they can go with Theatrical Movie Series starting.
