"You will find that it is you who are mistaken, about a great many things." -Mahatma Gandhi circa 4ABY

Seriously though, I have my doubts considering the show writers, but they did give us the scene where the dragons were familiar with Tyrion. Was when they were locked up. I'd bet on it happened as opposed to not.

I think the most recent episode pretty much torpedoed any chance of it happening. The whole reason we “needed” another Targ was so we would have three dragon riders. But with Viserion dead, we only need two and we have those. Plus the idea of having two “secret” Targaryens running around and serving an instrumental role in the story always seemed sloppy and forced to me.

maybe bran will warg into viserion. whatever the case, the fact remains: the dragon has 3 heads

Now it's down to two. Regardless, I always felt that line was referring to Rhaegar's children and not three Targs running around during the events of the book.

Yeah, a dragon dying is one of the reasons I have my doubts now about Tyrion being revealed in the show. Still think it's going to happen.

The book though, I've no doubt it will happen. GRRM has laid the groundwork for that early on.

At this point I think it's unlikely that Tyrion is a Targaryen but you never know

if Bran could warg into a wight, he would have done it to a human-wight and walked back to Westeros, saving Jon and company the trip beyond the wall.

i refuse to believe any writer is that dumb.

Oh no, Tywin Lannister was literally made into a cuckold by the Mad King and Tyrion was the result. This is one of the theories that holds water, imo.

Bran's now Dr. Manhattan with his 'nothing matters to me in this world anymore', so he can't be relied on.

Not that I think warging affects the deceased.

the dragon is not just a wight. the eyes, chico...they never lie.

If the dragon is some sort of Whitewalker dragon, and Bran can warg his now autistic self into it, why not just warg into the Night's King and kill himself. Bran solos the war.

hey im just guessing at the warg thing, but i'm asserting that viserion is a white walker dragon/ice dragon, not just another dead thing. it is known.

Remember, the Night King saw him. I don't think it would be wise to mess around with something that can detect/track your warging.

Because the Night King is stronger than Bran.

i'm under the impression that NK controls the white walkers just the same as he does the wights. if so, it may be actually possible for bran to warg into a WW, just not NK. he obviously has some kind of anti-bran magic as we've seen demonstrated multiple times.

I think so too. The Night King turned Viserion the same way he turned Craster's babies, by touching them, as opposed to just raising his arms.

Yeah I'm familiar with the theory and it makes sense, I just don't see it happening in the show now. It wouldn't make any sense to viewers who aren't familiar with the books. Jon's parentage has been strongly hinted at since the beginning of the series and has a significant impact on the story (him being the rightful heir to the throne), whereas there's not much in the show that implies Tyrion is a Targaryen and it wouldn't really mean anything if he was.

Is this Sunday really the season finale? Woah time flys

So the white walkers took out a dragon I guess because Dany was looking a little too invincible with those dragons. If she wasn't vulnerable to anything then she could easily wipe out the white walkers. She's also vulnerable in that she doesn't just want to wipe out all the innocent people with the corrupt leaders she wants to overthrow.
