It punched through a dragon's skull during the testing, so it can defo kill a dragon with a well placed hit

I got the impression Drogo is a lot bigger/tougher, which is why that arrow wasn't enough.

Then you got the wrong impression. It pierced Balerion's skull and he was far bigger than Drogon.

After that conversation between Tyrion and Dany about succession I'm almost certain Dany is dying next season. No conversations in the show are completely meaningless, Dany will most probably die.
"It filled me with dread. Piles and piles of them, years and years of them. How many countless living, crawling things smashed and dried out and returned to the dirt? In my dreams I found myself standing on a beach made of beetle husks, stretching as far as the eye could see. I woke up crying, weeping for their shattered little bodies."
―Tyrion Lannister

"Dude it's symbolism for George killing characters or the cruelty of life or some shit LOL"

Balerion the Black Dread is not only much larger than Drogon, he's the largest and mightiest dragon in recorded history in-universe.

i also think she'll die, but i think someone will bring her back to life. mel, the high priestess, or maybe jon snow

I just hope she chokes with her tea before a climactic battle or something.

there could also be another dragon hiding beneath dragonstone. the original dragons of valaryan emerged from volcanic mountains. i know i'm reaching, but it's not exactly baseless.

I loved the books, but I love the screenwriter all killer no filler show even more!

So Dany realized Jon was resurrected from his scars. Yet just rolled with it?

Remember, her only experience with black magic involves robbing her of her unborn child to raise up her lover. She has no idea any other types of resurrections are possible, so should have been "triggered" pretty badly..

Craving the D>>>Black Magic concerns

And THEN I think Bran will warg into a dragon, after there's no Dany to control them.

Also Jon Snow became intrigued with the idea of having a child. And then Dany explicitly told him that she can't have children. So maybe some targaryen incest produces a surprise heir or something

Either that or they'll kill Cersei, and Danny will turn all evil after she finds out John is the rightful heir and he doesn't want to marry his Aunt.

Meh.

She knows who Jon is as a person by now, and being resurrected doesn't necessarily mean black magic.

I disagree with the Dany going evil theories, it would betray her character development over the past 6 years and be a radical shift to take place in such little time. Sure she's gonna frequently grapple with the ideas of leadership through fear and ruling with more of a stern grip, but the nucleus of her character as someone who tries to be good shouldn't change.

My prediction is that she ultimately sacrifices the iron throne and herself to win the war against white walkers. A big heroic death. Cersei will probably be defeated and the iron throne will be for the taking but Dany will give it up.

watch that scene again of thoros being mauled by the bear, and tell me that doesn't sound like arnold

Dany going evil would fit a "The best intentions turn to shit" narrative of this verse.

It's also in perfect fitting with her mis-steps. Killing all the slave owners and breaking famlies, putting former slaves in the street without a way of providing for themselves, overhauling their customs overnight..

Am I the only one who doesn't like Eron's character or arc?
He basically just popped us as a replacement antagonist to fill the void of a Joffrey or Ramsey type of antagonists but with almost no character development besides a generic evil guy that wants power.

No. Show!Euron is absolutely terrible. He doesn’t at all fit within the world or tone of the show feeling more like a villain from some cheesy fantasy film.

The thing I fear the most is that he will play a big part in season 8, again with him having no character development and just be one of the main bad guys and fuq shit up for characters that have been around since the beginning. Just taking up screen time where there is little screen time left.
The main baddies that have "Earned" their place like Cersei and the Night King might take back seat to this generic token bad guy.

to be fair, how can euron be a solid character when he's been rowing gendry's boat for half the season.

Yeah and the whole "bend the knee or die" shit. She's already been evil this season tbh. She's just needs to go full on evil.

Not saying I want that. Or even that I predict that. Just that a possible Evil Danny turn has pretty much been set up.

TBF, that's not really evil but rather how that form of gov't works. Of course, it does cast the whole "BREAK DA WHEEL" shit in a rather hypocritical light.
