Remember, the Night King saw him. I don't think it would be wise to mess around with something that can detect/track your warging.

Because the Night King is stronger than Bran.

Good point, forgotten about that. 👆

So the white walkers took out a dragon I guess because Dany was looking a little too invincible with those dragons. If she wasn't vulnerable to anything then she could easily wipe out the white walkers. She's also vulnerable in that she doesn't just want to wipe out all the innocent people with the corrupt leaders she wants to overthrow.

#RandomGoTthoughtOfTheDay

TBF, we've already seen she and the dragons are vulnerable with Qyburn's "scorpion", if Bron had aimed a bit more to the left, the ballista bolt would have pierced the dragon in the chest and lively outright downed it. Let alone a shot to the head.

*a bit more to the right, not left 🙂

It hit the dragon on the right shoulder, no? I was looking at it from the dragon's perspective, not Bron's. But yeah, should have been Bron's.

Oh, please. That thing was like a needle wound. And I think White Walker elites probably have better aim.

It punched through a dragon's skull during the testing, so it can defo kill a dragon with a well placed hit

I get what you are saying here, but....
I think a Dragons skin/scales also play a part in its durability. For example the archers that fired like 20+ arrows at Drogon, and Drogon took them all in the chest. The arrows just bounced off like nothing.
The Scorpion arrow can pierce a dragon but the hide will slow the arrow down a bit i would think.

...not to mention that she shot a 300+ year-dead skull which was probably way more brittle

Im not even factoring the ice spear because that shit probably has "Magic" HAX powers from the Night King. Like the ice weapons from the White Walkers that shatter swords and armor like nothing.

Logically I'd agree, but the show story telling has gone way downhill over the years. They put that scene in to let you know that a direct shot would kill a dragon.

Also, it's how Meraxes was killed in the lore. A headshot would definitely kill a dragon.

Anyone else notice how different the NK looks now compared to Hardhome? I think he looked better before

Looks basically the same to me?

not really. NK was played by 3 different actors. the first 2 looked less rubbery and fake imho.

After that conversation between Tyrion and Dany about succession I'm almost certain Dany is dying next season. No conversations in the show are completely meaningless, Dany will most probably die.

And THEN I think Bran will warg into a dragon, after there's no Dany to control them.

Also Jon Snow became intrigued with the idea of having a child. And then Dany explicitly told him that she can't have children. So maybe some targaryen incest produces a surprise heir or something

i also think she'll die, but i think someone will bring her back to life. mel, the high priestess, or maybe jon snow

If she dies they won't bring her back. Not after they did it for Jon Snow
