Crash from space>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Plane crash.
As pertains the phaser bolt, Khan is not a normal man; when in combat mode, Khan withstood several phaser blasts and was still on his feet (and this was after the space crash and fighting Spock)...
We absolutely agree to disagree about Cap vs 5 Khans...now that is wankage.
@Aracnid1
You claim that Cap is more durable than Khan; what are you basing this upon? Feats!??
I challenge you to come up with feats of durability of the part of Cap that are greater than withstanding an impact at orbital velocity or enduring a crash from space...
If you cant produce these feats, I just might be inclined to believe that you are not being objective...

Bane only loses to Hawkeye if Hawkeye can successfully range and shoot him (Hawkeye gets rip apart in h2h combat against Bane); Black Widow dies horribly if she dares face Bane hand to hand...
Hawkeye is roughly equal to Widow and was fighting Chitauri in melee. Widow was doing the same, has taken down tons of highly trained guys, and fought someone enhanced far beyond Bane(Bucky) for a bit. She'd dance around Bane and take him down with her skills and agility. Probably break bones in the process considering she jumped, grabbed two guys while falling on them and snapped both their necks before she hit the ground.
Originally posted by TheLordofMurderI disagree, but I do agree he is inferior to Cap; Bane was fighting an armored peak human when he fought Batman...losing to him is nothing to be ashamed of.
No, losing to the weakest on screen version of Batman in history is shameful though. And if that version of Batman beat him, why do you think he can last against Cap who would murder that Batman with ease?
Originally posted by TheLordofMurderDebatable; Khan has had more combat training than Cap and simply has a different fighting style than Cap...
Having more training doesn't mean more skill. You can train at something till your eyes roll back but that doesn't mean you get good at it. And considering Spock who has no mentioned training whatsoever and shows his fighting skills are basic at most can put up a good fight, clearly Khan isn't all that great.
Originally posted by TheLordofMurderI believe Khan has the damage soak to take what Cap is capable of dishing out; withstanding an impact at orbital velocity and a crash from space support this belief...
Well considering it wasn't a straight crash(from space, straight down to the ground), it was a directed descent where a lot of speed was lost(due to the engines not working at full capacity)that ended in a crash landing. Also he had state of the art safety gear inside to help keep him safe in just such an occasion. It's impressive yeah, but nowhere near where you want it to be.
What Cap did, turn the controls straight down and drive it into the ground is a crash.

They are also all superhuman to high degrees.Okay. Let me ask you something. Because Khan survived that crash that was worth a couple atom bombs or something like that. How do you think he'd fare if Cap threw that motorcycle at him? It should clearly do a lot less damage than the crash right?
Khan would absolutely tank getting a motorcycle thrown at him...

Funny you say that. Because he certainly didn't tank getting whacked in the skull by that piece of fuselage Spock broke off. Nor did he tank his arm snapped right after, or getting tossed onto his ass right after. Nor did he tank the multiple punches to the face while he was on the ground.
I think having a 600+lb motorcylce chucked at him hard enough to crumple an armored jeep would straight up kill him. If it wouldn't, nothing Spock did should have even so much as gotten his attention.

And when did all of this occur!?
AFTER the major event that you seem hellbent on ignoring...the space crash.
And after being blasted by Uhura repeatedly with a phaser...
Come on, be objective!!!
A Phaser stun bolt doesn't weaken you physically.
And you yourself said he tanked the crash just fine. He was running through the city just fine, jumped on that passing junker just fine. Jumped to the other one just fine. Beat on Spock etc...
The only thing the stun blasts did were give Spock an opening to take him down.

Never said Khan "was just fine" after the crash; he was clearly hurt and bleeding...
The crash weakened him, and he was still owning a fresh, mad as hell, Spock until Spocks gal saved him...
Originally posted by TheLordofMurderHonestly, the fact that you think Khan can withstand hundreds of thousands of tons of impact says a lot about you. There's not much point in really debating with you.
